I experienced Racism at this restaurant today. I arrived with 3 adults and 9 children ages 3-17 years old. We were told as we entered that they didn't have room for us. The restaurant was 95% empty on the inside and 98% empty on the outside. I'm 100% sure we were turned away because we are Black and had to many little black children with us. Almost every table in and outside the restaurant was empty. The only reason I left calmly was because of the children that were with me. I won't suggest this restaurant to anyone.

Visiting Memphis for the night and this was walking distance from the hotel. I walked in and immediately felt welcomed. The burger was delicious and huge. Billy was such an amazing and personable bartender. Will definitely be back next time I’m in town.

I was on my way to the restroom when I walked by a guy named Freedom who was emptying the trash. He stepped aside to let me pass and politely greeted me. What a kind soul he was! He was dressed very professionally in a 3-piece suit quietly emptying the trash. I complimented him on his nice appearance and kind demeanor and he replied, “this is what my grandmother taught me “. WOW! Beautiful person! I was touched by his very sincere spirit. Wonderful employee!

I ordered sum type of short rib sandwich and some wings.The sandwich had some kind of cheese melted on top of the bread that was so hard I couldn't bite it so I pried it off only to see the bread was burnt...I was so hungry I just ate the inside of the sandwich. When I brought it to the waitress attention she said "well it's cooked in butter".The wings were dry around the edges.Also served a flat can of Sprite.This was on Saturday 4 May about 7pm.I was so angry I couldn't even ask for the manager.I spent a total of $70.00 for me and my friend.I WILL NEVER eat there again
I really enjoyed the "Local." It was getting late, and this gem was still going strong. The service was great, the vibe was amazing, and I even got in some karaoke. I'm glad we found you, Local. See you another time, cheers!

My experience here was wonderful! The drinks are great! The food is so delicious! The buffalo wings are finger licking good. Somebody definitely put their foot in the Philly egg rolls! The fries were hot and well seasoned, and the Nachos with fresh jalapenos were literally mouth watering! You could eat the chips by themselves! The prices don't break your pockets. Last but definitely not least, the service was phenomenal! I haven't been to a place in a while where I enjoy everything about it. This was it! Well worth the 20% gratuity and a tip!

My husband had an allergic reaction here that necessitated emergency treatment. They did not clearly mark their menus (admitted this on the phone) that a buffalo sandwich contained peanut butter. They have made no effort to reconcile the situation. Don't go here!
