The vibe at the Moxy is really unique: pinball machines in the lobby, eclectic and colorful decor, a bar at the check-in desk. The rooms are awesome, really great decor - small as you would expect in a city but the furnishings really maximize the space. The beds are comfortable. I knocked it down one star because as a light sleeper, it was a rough night. Let me clarify, my husband and my son slept great - they can sleep through anything - if you're a deep sleeper, then 10/10...
It’s definitely themed to appeal to millennials and those around that age, but as I am in that demographic, I thought it was cute. I knew when I booked I was going for a little more fun over the space and comfort I am used to from Marriott, but for a quick trip to Memphis, I really loved it! The activities were fun and the staff definitely add to the cool and hip atmosphere.

Lots of homeless ppl around but we didnt feel unsafe walking everywhere including at night.
Complaints are the $30 daily valet fee. Also the air conditioner in the room is loud. I like to have it cold when im sleeping and I kid you not, it woke me up several times when it kicked on. Room is small. No privacy when ur sharing the room and need privacy in the rest...
