All the employees were pleasant. The woman working the front counter was so kind to my daughter.The food was incredible. From the ribs, to the baked beans, to green beans, chicken, etc. I don’t think there want anything that wasn’t delicious.The desserts were phenomenal. Lemon, strawberry, key lime pie. Man. What a great menu! Will be back if I come to Memphis again

We’re traveling back home and Memphis is about our halfway point so we decided to stop for BBQ. We prefer smaller, mom and pop kind of places and we hit the jackpot! Delicious BBQ, super friendly staff from the girl at the counter taking our order to the gentleman who brought it out to our table. The portions are huge! My husband had the turkey without sauce and it was so juicy and flavorful. I chose the rib tips from reading others reviews and I’m so glad I did! I got them dry with sauce on the side. The meat fell right off the bone and the crispy flavorful bark on the outside was perfect with every bite. They also have a kids menu which was perfect for our picky nine year old.

Was the best barbecue I've ever eaten. All the food was amazing. I had California beef links 1/2 chicken fries and baked beans with meat in it. It was all amazing. If you want some great barbecue go there. The staff was also amazing very friendly and polite.

Been staying in East Memphis for a long time I never knew this place was right there ,, I usually go to A an R or big Bill’s barbecue compared to you guys food,, I’ve been buying is dog food it’s no comparison you guys meat tender flavorful smoky the competition trust me there’s not ….enough said ,,keep up the good work, I will be Back very soon

Out of towner, career chef. Met a sweet old man this morning and we talked about BBQ and God. He recommended Neely’s to me, which was ironic because I had heard about it years ago and wanted to come. Walked in and was greeted by a sweet gal and her dad, who I found out is the owner. His dad opened this place, many years ago and was a world class BBQ champ. Let me tell you, this family couldn’t have made an out of town chef feel more at home and then there’s the BBQ! BEST BEEF RIBS I have had! Pork rib tips were so tender and flavorful too! The rub they throw on this stuff is legit and the hot bbq sauce was off the chain! I ate a bunch and took a meal for 4 out the door. It’s getting packed in a cooler and will be dinner with my family in Arizona! The fact that this man is also a believer just means that God sent me here for this bbq and some fellowship. Praise God ???amen ?

The food was delicious, and the service extraordinary. They have switched to a mostly take out restaurant, but were very happy to let us dine in, since we were traveling. The food is brought to you take out style, but you can eat at the dine in tables. Super friendly family owned restaurant.
