I challenge you to find a better taco in Memphis or the surrounding area than Taqueria El Huasteco at the corner of Winchester and Riverdale. My order is always 4 tacos - 2 barbacoa, 1 birria, and 1 carne asada. I'm not a fan of raw onions (cebollas crudas) and always asked for mine cooked (cocidas). They are divine!
Always drove past this place, decided to stop a few months back and I’ve been coming back ever since!!! They have the best SEASONED steak tacos, steak nachos etc around town! I stamp it! 11/10 no exaggeration! Highly recommend!

First, the prices are very affordable. I appreciated the authenticity of the food. Loved the chicken and steak tacos the most. I went the next day and tried the pork and barria tacos. I didn't enjoy them as much, but that's just personal preference. The green and red salsa is great. I'll be a customer every time I come to that area. You'll love the food.
