My two drinks became three drinks on the bill and an Auto 20% gratuity.I’m never coming back, there’s no recovering from that.

I'm confused. If 15-20 people walk into a Mexican restaurant on 5 de Mayo, why is the comparison from the bartender, "how would you like 15-20 people to just show up at your house?" Appropriate or relevant? First, thats not even valid comparison. This is a business, which should be open to serve, on what will likely be a busy day. I guess, considering the lack of support from your community, maybe it isnt something to look forward to. Quite embarrassing to be a "Mexican restaurant" on 5 de mayo, and be shocked to get guests showing up at once. ??‍♂️

The tacos here were very tasty. The overall atmosphere was very cozy. They were having karaoke night when we were there. The bar staff was very friendly and had good suggestions for food and drink. The margaritas were very sweet, which is not my favorite. If you don’t like sweet margaritas, ask for light on the agave.

Today was our first visit. They were short staffed, but the hostess/bartender was phenomenal. She handled influx of people coming from festivals with ease. The vegan taco was small but good. The churros were really good. I could have eaten a few more. My husband says that the spicy chicken taco was good also.We will visit again.

We wanted to give this place a chance based on the name alone. The name is a fantastic choice, and the restaurant is very nice. The Edison bulbs over the bar are a nice touch, and the restrooms are clean. The bartender/server/hostess (one person for all 3 roles) was very pleasant and service orented. She was also stretched thin and was put in a few difficult situations. She was alone filling multiple roles. Additionally, she apologized for the wait at the door, the lack of available tables due to shift change, and for plastic ware rather rather than rolled silverware. The food was good, but the staff appears to be task saturated. If there had been more patrons she would not have been able to keep up.Overall, the food was good. I tried three of their tacos and was not disappointed. They do offer a Vetrans discount, which is very much appreciated. I recomend this place, but suggest that they staff up when there are big events downtown.

No one greeted us when we walked in. We stood around looking for someone to welcome us in or to seat us, and it never happened. The place wasn’t even crowded. We won’t be coming back. Would NOT recommend!

The food was trash. Everyone should know that an enchilada does not come with the beans and rice in it, that's basically a burrito. It was even harder to eat with the plastic silverware they give you to eat with. The spicy chicken taco wasn't even spicy either. It looked spicy, but who knows they probably just added food dye to it. This was definitely not worth $44.

Came here on a Friday evening. There was a good size crowd. Has a dance floor but seems like most of us came to sit down. I did not order a drink just a taco which was about $5 and looked like a "fancy" taco bell taco. Flavor and seasoning are mediocre. The bartender was great, she kept it real with us and was friendly. I didn't have much of an experience to want to go back. I can see locals visiting for the bartenders and possibly the drinks.

When I walked in the door no one greeted us we just stood there looking lost trying to decide if they were actually open. The bartender then say hey what can I help you with? Huh? I'm here to eat can someone show me where to sit? So then he gestures to a booth across the way. They brought out cutlery packets instead of real cutlery. The food was as the new generation say "mid" I ordered a taco salad to go and it didn't come with sour cream I had to pay extra. What taco salad doesn't come with sour cream??!! Very disappointing given I live walking distance to the restaurant.
