Red Hook Express - Cajun Seafood Restaurant (Elvis Presley Blvd)

I’ve been to 3 of the local Red Hooks and I’d have to say this one is by far the best one to me. It’s smaller, quaint, and delicious. I didn’t realize it was the “express” location until after the experience. The atmosphere and food makes up for the lack of a bar and Dj and quite frankly, I’m glad they didn’t have one. My family and I were able to enjoy our food fresh, delicious in peace. The place was clean including the restrooms and the service was pleasantly professional. I’d drive across town to visit this location anytime! Thanks for a great and impressive visit !

The guy that takes the orders is a bit rude and impatient 😕. But the food is Soo good. I love the fried shrimp basket 🤤

The food for me has Always been hot, fresh and tasty. Never have had to wait a long time for food.

The fact that I come and I order a pickup I shouldn't have to tip I went there 3 days frequently and the third day they skimped me I don't have to tip that's the pickup situation take it up with your boss this is not a half pound of mussels an pound of crawfish 19 76

We ordered the shrimp, crab legs, and lobster tail boil. It was well seasoned and plentiful. The wait time was short, and the atmosphere was chill.

Actually, I had to pay extra for the side that comes with the order. Wanted shrimp, Crawfish Haven was closed.

Stopped by and did not order because not only was I not greeted when I walked in but I spoke to the short man at the register and he did not speak back. I asked how he was doing and he said fine. The kicker is, shortly after I came in, a Caucasian family entered behind me. And yep, you guessed it lol he greeted them as soon as they came in!! He asked them how they were doing and yep none of them responded to him lol and then they left without ordering, the moment was a magical instant karma moment. I'm not sure if they have an ethnic preference, I'm just sharing my observations and experience with them.

This location has very small portions! I ordered the 4pc catfish the 4 pieces equated to about 1 good sz filled. I ended up going across the street & ordered a 2pc it was 2 large cat fillers with fries & slaw for about a dollar more but you got a whole lot more taste was about the same for either restaurant which was average.

Wasn’t very welcoming, not greeted at no point when I asked about the menu the guy at the register just shook his head! I don’t spend my money for people to badly prepare my food I just walked out! I’m not from here so I thought I’d check them out for my seafood fixin! I’ll go elsewhere ?
