Food is normally pretty good. Fried rice looked like white rice today with a couple of veggies mixed in. Buccaneers roll is my favorite, but today was extra fishy and inedible so sent it back and asked for another type of roll. Manager wanted to argue that she would not refund the roll because I ate a piece. I obviously tasted it to come to the conclusion it was old. I won’t be back after such a ridiculous comment or the poor food today.

Excellent service, good food. On Saturday, we had to wait for a table for three, more than half an hour, so take care of steel in advance. Hot sake is excellent, rolls are also good. I liked sapura too.

My experience at Red Koi at poplar was very disappointing, it was my first time trying this Japanese Cuisine this chubby guy mid 40s was very rude and made me feel very unwelcome. He acts as if he was forced to work there like I don’t get it if you don’t like your job why be there!!!!

Although I was seated promptly by the host, my experience quickly soured. My server, Petrelle, was rude, unwelcoming and made me feel discriminated, forcing me to request a new server through the manager and change seats. Thankfully, Ibrahim, my new server, was much friendlier. However, the poor ventilation in the restaurant made the strong smell of food overwhelming throughout the meal. With so many dining options in the area, I probably won’t be returning.

Food was great, meat cooked to request, vegetables were cooked well, rice was a little under seasoned. Little loud in the dining room but not too bad.

Place was fine. Sushi was good, but have had much better. They had some very interesting rolls like the Bass Pro roll, which was good. The fried rice was so good.

Would go back

Water was 6/10

Dinner should have dim warm lighting, not bright blue lights that blind you
