I really like this place but have shown up multiple times when Google hours say open, but they are closed. Wish they would respect customers enough to update.

This weekend the air was out so yeah it was hot, hopefully it will be fixed for their Sake event. The food and drinks is outstanding.

One of my favorite restaurants in Memphis, the food is consistently amazing and every time I come back, I’m always impressed! It is a little bit loud inside but it’s never too bad!

Food tasted exceptional. Give it a 4.5 starsPortion size in relation to price: 1.5 Star. Pricey for very small portions.Service: 4. She was really helpful in explaining everything.Atmosphere: 2 stars. Water dripped from vent down the middle of the restaurant. Also had flies around table.

Wait staff was extremely friendly and food came out fast after ordering. Interesting flavors, but textural execution is lacking. For example on the dumplings, the skin is very thick and doughy. At the same time, the flavor of the dumplings is excellent as we tried all of them. Yakatori is very good, wish they had a wider selection of meats / veg to choose from. Pork belly was definitely our favorite. Udon noodle soups were nice, but slightly overly salty. Miso chocolate pie is very creative and interesting, nice sweet / savory / fragrant balance.Overall I’d recommend trying salt soy for the flavors they put together. The textual / execution of the dishes leaves something to be desired, but they’re very reasonably priced and wait staff is great.

The service was good, but the sushi was not good. )-: The sushi was a bit soggy and the flavor was not right. A bit overpriced. It is a good place to hang out with people, but does not serve authentic Japanese food.

I caught the restaurant in their transition period between lunch and dinner. They were still willing to serve me, though. It was a nice experience having the restaurant to myself aside from the chefs, servers, and bartenders. The atmosphere was peaceful. The food was divine. Upon my initial arrival I had the Miso soup and Spicy Crawfish roll. I returned to try their dinner menu and indulged myself with the Duck Yakitori and Tuna Maki roll.I will definitely be returning to try more of the menu.

Can not recommend enough! Two of us split the steamed gyoza, ginger salad, pork belly skewer, udon, and hot chick roll along with a few cocktails. Food was arguably the best I’ve had in Memphis, period. SO GOOD. Service was awesome, we were able to sit upstairs right away on a Saturday night. Bartender was fantastic. Come here!!!

Went here recently and had a drink that I cannot remember the name of - it was great though. But I do remember the dish I had and it was great as well! The Duck Yakisoba was so creamy and I know that’s weird to say about a noodle dish but it was damn tasty with a lot of duck (to my surprise).Service was great. Food and drinks were outstanding. I loved the atmosphere. Our table friend told us there will be some cool changes with the hours and offerings soon.I’ll be back because I want to try the patio on a nice fall day!

The first time I went to this restaurant I had the best experience. We sat upstairs and was serviced by the bartender. My experience got me to bring a friend back to this restaurant because I wanted them to experience what I did in the past. Why did I do that? My second experience today - The hostess was talking through my friend to me. It was very awkward and weird especially since I made the reservations and was standing right there. Every cocktail I requested they didn’t have the liquor for it, so I asked for a captain and coke. The waitress had no clue what that was, and I have no clue what they made me. I just knew I wasn’t getting another cocktail. The food was okay nothing to brag about, our waiter disappeared and we had to ask another waiter for water.I was really disappointed especially for the amount of money we were looking to spend there.

Thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant! We started with their house cocktails which were well balanced & yummy. Then got the Hamachi, spicy chili dumplings, Mushroom dumplings, and the chicken gravy dumplings. Soo good!! We will be back.

Great dining option on Broad! I had the veggie fried rice and the spinach tofu, both were delicious. Service was great and our sever, Cassie, made great recommendations. Looking forward to returning here.

This was our second time eating here and was our last. Whoever the hostess is is very rude, we were not greeted so I assumed we sat ourselves until a waitress gave us a dirty look. I then had to ask if they were closed due to the lack of words used. A bartender we had before rushed in and took care of us while the hostess stayed on her phone. We were the only Black customers there and sat at the bar. We were told that all their seats were reserved but…. no one ever came and we were there for an 1.5 hours. If you have melanin this is not for you. The owner walks around the entire time, waiters stare, very uncomfortable. This is Midtown/Binghampton, historically Black. Now I don’t even feel welcome here anymore. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend.
