The restaurant is somewhat spacious and brightly lit with outdoor lighting. The staff is very attentive and the food is very good. I'm used to getting much larger portions but this is my first time at a restaurant in this area, so I don't know how much is given by others. The price is very reasonable. I came to Memphis for the BBQ, but the food at Soul Fish Cafe ended up being the best thing I had here! Caesar salad with blackened salmon was great, and the sweet potato fries with homemade honey mustard sauce was delicious!
I always order the whole catfish. It's good and flavorful.I use to do the fillets until they start cutting them in half and raised the price. The white chocolate cheesecake is also a favorite I order regularly. However, it's been quite soggy on the bottom the last few visits. SFC is my quick go to dinner and I look forward to future visits.
