Great friendly service. Cashier greeted everyone walking in like he knew them. The waitresses were nice and friendly.The food was good. The carnitas were delicious and the fajitas were too.
I like coming to Maciel's because it's decent, quick, and consistent for weekday lunches. I don't come because the food is delicious, because it isn't. All of the meats are really bland and under-seasoned, in my opinion. But the service is fast, and we can be in and out in under 30 minutes when necessary. We came here for the first time four months ago and we ended up eating here…I think three times? during our short stay in Memphis, and I’ve been dreaming about this food every day until today. Ha. I had the same cup of soup (the bowl is huge!) and asada street taco. Just as delicious as it was in all my dreams. Memphis you don’t know how lucky you are.
