This is a sad thing when you have a person wait 6 minutes for cornbread and they come out burnt and half wrapped in foil. There were literally 6 or more people at work and I was the only person in that mane until the door Dasher came in and he had to wait also. These folks are really bad representations for the business and the culture let me make my own cornbread. Hands down one of the best if not the best soul food spot in Memphis the food is consistent throughout all locations I’ve been to. The corn bread is amazing. The yams yes always a hit. And I always get the fish.

I order greens, fried porkchops, yam, and mac and cheese, corn bread. The porkchops are fried so hard and crust so thick on them you would have to pull the skin off to get to the thin porkchop, green nothing but stems, yam no sugar, I looked at the mac and cheese before I payed it didn't look like the mac and cheese so I had him to take it off. So I want be going back for a while. $17.00 I through away.
