This particular Starbucks location is always convenient for me considering I work on campus, so it’s perfect for when I need a boost of energy(lol). I came in on today and ordered my usual( tall caramel frappe almond milk light whipped cream). They were out of whipped cream…cook, no problem. The barista called the drink and after noticing it was the wrong beverage(a caramel ribbon crunch) something I didn’t order. I told her it was wrong. Her and the cashier was talking and I could hear the cashier educating her on the difference of the drinks using the abbreviations. She was on her way to make me a brand new drink, when I over hear the cashier tell her “you don’t have to make a brand new drink” so she used the old drink and just took the crunch out. Who’s to say I wasn’t allergic to this or couldn’t consume this. Very bad customer service and quality at this moment. So the barista gave me the drink after taking toppings off and pouring in another cup like I wasn’t going to taste it and notice this difference in taste. I visit Starbucks 2/3 a week here!!! I immediately told her this doesn’t taste iffy it tastes like butterscotch/toffee candy. She asked didn’t you want the caramel frappe I stated yes! I said I get this offers so I know what it suppose to taste like. Again she stated didn’t you want the shots in it again I stated this isn’t right. Eventually it was made right but I am beyond disappointed at the lack of customer service and rudeness from both workers and most likely if those two are present at work I won’t be returning.

If you visit Memphis university, don't forget to go to Starbucks. Here, you will find Sam, who is very kind. He smiles at everybody, and never forget to say " Good morning" and " have a good day". This, without mentioning the quality of the coffee, which is always the best in this country.

They are always friendly and patient with their clientele. it's a little upsetting they aren't open on weekends but they are a very convenient place for people on campus especially.

Yep, not going back to University of Memphis Starbucks again. They keep messing up my order and its the simplest thing which is a medium black coffee with 8 sugars. I ask them medium blonde with 8 sugars and they just give me straight black coffee. No sugar. Can they comprehend? They can make drinks that have 30 ingredients but they have a problem with putting in just sugar. If they have a problem with it then let me do it myself. Give me the sugar and a stirrer and let me be on my way.

Went today and they took too long on my order then for them to do everything wrong! Then once I got to the drive through windows I saw 1 person dumping 2 cups seems like they got people working who doesn't know much

Right now I am a licensed Starbucks employee and I am very upset with how untrained these baristas are. Very lax in how they run the bar, and they aren't sure how every drink is made. Kudos to them being able to survive the constant rush, but this popup could be way way better. Blonde messes up their machines? Don't lie. That makes no sense.

I don't mind waiting for my drink at this location. I have never had a problem with the quality of the food/drinks served here. But TODAY... There barista who came in from the outside (front door) and started messing with the ordering screen. I thought she was someone from IT fixing the screen, so I stopped paying attention to her. When I went back to counter later to see if my tea was finally being prepared, there she was with a Starbucks apron and playing with her HAIR while she was working I don't know if she ever washed her hands after she got to work, but it doesn't matter that much when she's playing with her hair!!! She actually put that "hair hand" in the cup while she was preparing drinks. That's NASTY, people! I don't have a problem with the location, but yall need to require hair nets and HAND WASHING!!!!!!!!!!!! The barista had her hair in a ponytail, but she kept playing with the ponytail and flipping her long bang hair out of her face. Ugh! Ugh! Ugh! DISGUSTING!!!

They are constantly overwhelmed and the wait for a coffee often exceeds 20 minutes. If you are ok with being late for class this is a decent option. Otherwise it is pointless.
