The various choices of grits is amazing. The different flavor combos are great; my favorite was the duck & grits. Loved the food and atmosphere so much I got my picture with the owner and staff and bought a T-shirt.

Sugar & Grits is a true hidden gem in Memphis! The food is absolutely delicious — every dish is made with care and full of Southern flavor. The grits are creamy and perfectly seasoned, and the breakfast options are hearty and satisfying. Generous portions! Best breakfast we have had in ages. Our server, Jalisa, was also awesome. Great coffee too!! The pancakes are divine, as well as the potato cake and the biscuit is melt in your mouth.
