The People were nice but the food was not

They recently changed to table service but still have carry out. No more counter service for dine in. Our waitresses was super nice and helpful but the food came out pretty staggered and my dish was cold. I just don't see myself going there again to pay the extra for tip etc.

Customer service was extremely poor. No one greeted us at the door an asked us for Here or To Go.! 1st off we didn't or was not informed that we must sit down to get service so instead we order i guess on the wrong side an sat down. Still a paying customer an misinformed of how it goes because no 1 was helpful every one was rude up until we left. Worst experience ever they moved us 3 times out of every section just because it was trivia Nite NOT EVEN ASKING IF WE WANTED 2 PLAY Bingo & we love bingo!. HUEYS TRIVIA NITE CUSTOMER SERVICE at least doesn't kick u out just because as a misinformed customer u order n the wrong place which was n the 2go section an didn't kno about table service as a new customer. The lettuce was old looking an they refused to give me new lettuce after asking 4 TIMES!!! I just ate with no lettuce to keep things calm an my digestive system safe. This is so UNACCEPTABLE! NEVER AGAIN the experience really RUINED my good date. Once we sat down the service got bad an racist. I remained calm an unbother the whole time because i couldn't wait to do a Review an hope upper management see this an other consumers beware to aviod a unfavorable experience! IM OVER IT! This is not a place for New BLACK CUSTOMERS. Seems like the focus an favor was on their regular customers. Whelp you dont get new regulars with that service. Stay blessed because yall Nachos were disgusting I only ate them because my guest brought them with his hard earned money. The tacos were ok but I wouldn't write home about none of it. Told my date we would have did better off eating taco bell because at least the Customer Service wouldn't have been disgusting there!

Very good tacos. I really appreciated the fresh ingredients, friendly service, and atmosphere. There’s no shortage of taco spots around the Memphis area, but this is a clear winner for many reasons.

Husband got shrimp tacos. (2)
Could hardly finish it. 10/10 would come again.

Only issue I would say for me, was no cash only card.

I’ve been wanting to give this place a try for a while. I haven’t been more disappointed in a place in a long time. You order the food like at a cafeteria. Ordered barbacoa chimichanga which comes with rice and beans. Barbacoa was meh. Rice tastes like instant minute rice and the beans like something out of a can. Ordered a margarita and it was premade but if I wanted a hand-made the price doubled but would have the same punt of liquor. Got the boy cheesy chicken and rice. I tasted the chicken and the texture was awful and the Flavor was worse. His Rice and beans were the same as mine. If someone is wanting Mexican go to an authentic Mexican spot. Swanky’s is a joke. Don’t waste your time or money when there is absolutely better food and ambiance than this poser.

Ohhh myyy!!! Swanky was superb!!! A featured dish was Chicken & Cheese platter...with peppers,onions, pico and drizzled queso....and I added guacamole!! Absolutely Awesome dish!!! Should be permanently added to menu! Try it if you can!! Definitely worth a return trip. Bravolissimo!!

Nice place for quick tasty food. Love the nachos and Taquitos.

Food is cold and when asked if they could warm it up they refused. It cost too much to get cooked precooked food! I walked out
