Food was okay, crab beignets were scrumptious, no lamb ?, but waiter, Journey, was superb!! She made our party of 15 feel like it was only us when really she had 3 large parties. Other waitresses, Erin and another girl with afro puffs, were the epitome of rude behavior. We met the owner, cool guy!Hopefully next visit will have lamb.

My husband and I visited here for brunch and the experience was amazing! Our server Brittney was so attentive. She met, no, she exceed all of our needs which surpassed our expectations. The food and drinks were A- Mazzing as was the live band! The place is huge and can host large parties for brunch for large families or groups of friends. You should definitely put it on your list of places to go for weekend brunch with your people. Thank you Paramount for a great experience!Andrew and Adrian Ramsey Sr.

First the good: The decor, ambiance/music was on point! The overall atmosphere was mellowNow, the bad: The service is not worthy of the beautiful website. There was no host/hostess to seat us for our 6:30 dinner reservations. A hard working waiter did seat us, and he was most attentive. However, their was no wine/liquor/cocktails/beer listening. Also, the menu didn't match the one posted on the website. The food didn't come out hot, and my steak, while cooked to order, was poorly trimmed, with an inordinate amount of fat. The Crab Beignets and Lettuce Wedges we're excellent! Our Cajun Seafood Pasta lacked seasoning. Also, the desert offerings were quite slim.We strongly suggest that you beef up your staff. We're going to give it another try in 30 days.

A blemish on the new waves of downtown dining experiences. I went to this place a few months during Downtown Dining Week in Nov/Dec and the food was okay but service was good. I went back May 21 for a birthday celebration and the person at the hostess stand was dressed in urban wear and a fitted baseball cap. I saw another man dressed similarly filling glasses and busting tables so it can’t be an accident or a rare happening of being short staffed. It was distracting but we still kept our reservation until we never were greeted or had a waiter come to our table for 20 minutes. In that time we made a new reservation nearby. It’s extremely disappointing how a new restaurant like this has faltered.

My daughter chose this establishment to celebrate her day but the outcome of the service at this place was a complete disaster. As soon as we arrived we were told half of the staff had already walked out and she was going to do the best she could. We waited at least an hour to get drinks and then the food came about another one and a half hour after that. Didn’t get a chance to experience certain food items on the menu because we could only choose like 5 selected items. Fast forward to after finishing our meal my aunt and the waitress agreed to a 10% off due to the poor service. After all was said and done the Chef had approached our table and said made the statement “ so what’s the problem” which infuriated the issue even more. The staff was very combative and I absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone!

Just don't!!! I will give them that we had a large party (20 people), but also had reservations so they knew what to expect. We had a table reserved for when they opened for brunch so we were seated right away. That is the only positive thing I can say about our experience. It took 20 minutes to even put in our drink order, and Dave, our server, skipped my husband twice. I ordered a Manmosa, and I had to track him down to clarify the juice I wanted because he didn't ask. After sitting for ONE HOUR (no exaggeration) our drinks came haphazardly (I was offered 3 drinks I did not order) our food was no where to be found. In fact, after our drinks came over an hour into our visit, I was told what I ordered from their limited brunch menu was not a available. Why did it take so long for them to figure that out!? My husband had to order 3 different items that they were "out of" after just opening the doors, figure that out. Unfortunately, we had a 7 hour drive home so we had to cancel the food just to get out of there after an hour and a half of waiting. We could still see the ticket in the kitchen untouched so it was not going to be anytime soon. Seemed like a cool place, but that is by far the worst service I have experienced to date. Go ANYWHERE else!!!!!

I understand every industry is short staffed these days, but when you're extremely short staffed you have to make changes. Limit the menu. Reduce guest size. It doesn't appear that Paramount has taken this into consideration. We were seated right away for our 6:30pm reservation and then it took several minutes for anyone to greet us at our table and bring us water. After we placed our order, we thought our server quit mid-shift because we didn't see her anywhere. Finally someone from the kitchen brought out one of our dishes. We were seated so close to the open kitchen that you could hear all the drama going on back there. The kitchen staff was trying their best, but it seems like they didn't have enough runners. We had to ask for one dish twice. Overall, the food was good but after the service we had, we won't be back.

So exciting to the the “Bluff City Law” set transformed into an upscale restaurant! Great cocktails!

What a terrible experience. While away on business I saw this new very attractive restaurant with a great menu. So I decided to try it out on Thursday, February 17th. I walked in and looked at the bar to take a seat. The bartender asks if I was here for dinner and I answered yes. Before even sitting down the female bartender says, "we have a limited menu and the kitchen is closing at 8". It was 7:15!! Why even bother running a business? I took my money down the street. Sorry, you wont get a second chance.

I had been anticipating this restaurant for a week and was very disappointed. On February 19th my husband and I went to The Paramount for date night. Upon arrival the capacity of the restaurant was between 30-40%. We had a 6pm reservation and sat down immediately. We ordered Salmon Dip which was very good I might say and my husband ordered a Caesar Salad(10 pieces of lettuce, no lie) We ordered our food and it took almost an our for the food to come. Then to top it off, they sent my food to a gentleman directly across from me then the waiter walked to the back made a U-turn and brought it back to me(like I wouldn't notice) I asked them to remake it; but at this point I was agitated and hungry so I cancelled my order and we left. Our waitress Tammy was extremely nice and made efforts to make things better. Management needs to improve their work flow. Apparently there is not enough staff to accommodate guests especially during the weekend. We will NOT be back.

New to Downtown Memphis ..... Great restaurant. My favorite was the service very welcoming and attentive. Food was delicious I liked that there were different kinds of dishes not your everyday Menu. Steaks , pasta , seafood great selection and my favorite were the appetizer very different and soooooo good. Also very neat atmosphere I believe they had used this building to shoot a movie or show so has some cool history. Last the restaurant is very close to the Orpheum Theater so if you are catching a show its within walking distance nice area. walking distance from beal street as awell

Service was good, they were obviously trying hard, however the food is far below standard. Could have enjoyed an excellent meal at Bishop or Gray Canary for a similar price (we finished at $50/person). Looks much better in photos than in reality- Doubt they will stay in business long unless menu is completely revised.
