Whoever was working there this morning was very rude. The shop says it's open at 630am online. We were there at 640am, it said they were open on Google. We get there and the guy working tried to ignore us for the first 2 minutes by hiding in the kitchen. Then my fiance asked if he could order and the man working yelled they weren't open until 8. When my fiance said google said otherwise he held up his hands showing the number 8, gave us a dirty look, and yelled 8 again.

I already eat here but today da BBQ sandwich was so old and hard. Nobody should have to be served food dat old. Im really disappointed and I drove past my neighborhood tops to come to this one..money wasted today

I ordered the loaded fries. I wouldn’t eat them. It appeared thrown together, and quality just wasn’t there guys. Very disappointing to spend $15 almost and it went in the trash. If ur gonna make it ur gonna have to do better . I say with upmost kindness ❤️

The inside has changed - updated and looks good. The BBQ pork is still as fantastic as when I was a kid.

I wanted for over 30 minutes for a to go order.

They messed up my barbecue sandwich but they fixed it and gave me an extra side for waiting. That's the only reason I'm giving them 5 stars.

I’ve frequented every Tops BBQ location around and this location at 3353 Summer is the best one by far. Every single time, I get a cheery attitude and they tell me how grateful they are to have me as a customer. They’re polite and they all have fun together at work which makes it more fun for the rest of us. Patrick in particular has been outstanding. And I can’t think of the lady’s name that’s always in the drive through window, but she’s a sweetheart too! If you want the best cheeseburger in all of Memphis, you’ve got to try the Tops Cheeseburger @ the 3353 Summer Avenue location. You won’t regret it!

The woman that works near National location is rude as hell and needs to be fired. I had to repeat my order several times and she charged me for each item individually instead of just doing the combo. How stupid can you get?

Not going back to that location, something has changed for the worse...
The BBQ is prepacked and smells like old fish, not smokey. Almost like it's been cooked in a crockpot and some off brand old bay seasoning.

Will try to 4000 block Tops in a few days, since I have seen smoke outta their chimney.

If you want the best barbecue in town Tops has it. In fact I think this is the best location. Great service, extra barbecue sauce every time. And they have a new members club, just give your phone number
