This location is one of the better Tops BBQ in town.
I have always loved Tops burgers and bbq ; however I am truly sorry but the food is now horrendous. I tried the bbq beef jumbo sandwich and it was horrible. The beef had 80% fat on the sandwich and dry old meat. I lived too far away to take this horrible mess back . I also tried what used to be the best burger in town. I don't know what happened to Top's Burger ; however it was dry, unseasoned with no flavor. This burger was just disgusting . Come on Top's you must do better... The customer service is always good with very helpful employees. I did not sit down to eat like I normally do; however they have recently remodeled.

I don’t know how this place is not 5 star I stopped here visiting from Fl the staff was amazing. Did take long to get are order the cook was talking to everyone there which was cool haven’t had good food since I’ve been in Memphis until I stopped here. After we received the food the cook came out asked us did we have everything we needed and how is the food. Best bbq I’ve had in a long time it felt like I was in old school barber shop

Walked it was really small and the cashier was rude very rude. My ribs half cooked Mac and cheese stale. My burger was cold and fries
People that are larger than normal cannot dine in here. The booths are so tiny and do not move. I am normal size and it's very uncomfortable for me. My family cannot eat here because they cannot squeeze into the tiny permanent affixed booths. Think it's time for an upgrade! Store down the street has tables and chairs!

This place is nasty as heck, everyone is standing around looking crazy. I came here for my daughter but decided against it because I stood at the counter a good five minutes in a staring contest (apparently) with the 3 employees standing around not doing anything, including greeting the customer. I left and ran into another Tops less than five minutes from this location. It's way cleaner and customer friendly

Quaint little shop, just got a 1/3lb rib plate to go. Service was fast & kind. Wasn't busy at all. Ribs came dry rubbed. Seasoning was good enough. I tried the mild sauce which came in a pack. It wasn't bad at all. Only about 5 bones on the plate though. Meat was tender and soft. I got the baked beans and potato salad. Nothing too special about the two but they paired well as they were very tasty. The bread was two hamburger bunn tops, not toasted. And the pink lemonade was very awesome, even though it was fountain. The atmosphere is kinda tight, small lil tables. The portion to price is acceptable. A couple of flying around but it's mainly an in & out joint. I would eat there again..
