Tropical Smoothie Cafe

I saw this place right next to the one and only bbq and I was curious about it but not enough to go inside and see what they had going on. I was under the impression that they only sold smoothies when in reality they sell food as well. Lunch was ordered from this place when I went to orientation for a job. I got the vegetarian hummus wrap. It was delicious and I would definitely order it again. I also ordered the maple syrup sweet potatoes and they weren't all that bad but I was not impressed with them. On my next lunch break, I'm going to go here to eat.

I placed an online order for the chicken pesto flatbread. They forgot the tomato and pesto sauce when I specifically ordered a chicken PESTO flatbread & I did not customize it. I called to ask a man if they ran out of ingredients and he said they did not, so I’m confused as to why they only prepared a chicken flatbread. Will no longer come to this location if employees cannot read and follow simple instructions.

HORRIBLE. Açaí bowl had absolutely no flavor, when it usually does. Not sure who’s the new people working in the store, but 0/10.

That snickerdoodle cookie is deceptively delicious.

Ordered the detox avocado smoothie it was very bland! I asked for them to add more pineapple and I could not tastes the ginger. Deekshithe told me they could NOT get anything added to the smoother and could not get a refund as there was a no refund policy but there is No signage in the store stating that!! I asked for a phone number to speak to a manager or supervisor she said there was no phone number to call!!

Finally another worker offered to remake the something it was better but could not taste the ginger!!! I will not be back to this location as service was terrible and rude!!!!

Store was freezing in dead of winter and trash cans over flowing outside. Doesn’t look like owners care

Not normally a person to leave reviews but after this experience I felt inclined to. I ordered a smoothie and wrap through the tropical smoothie app, upon delivery my driver only had the smoothie. (The driver didn’t speak English so asking him to go back didn’t work). I reached out to the store and shared what happened and they told me I had to drive to pick up the rest of the order - I let them know I didn’t have a car therefore I couldn’t do that. I asked for a refund and they said they couldn’t do that and I had to raise a ticket through the app (which I’ve done twice and received no response). Finally, Someone who identified themselves as a manager, said they would refund the $22 for the smoothie and wrap and I could reorder my food - therefore, breaking even. I thanked him and agreed to this. Fast forward a week and I have no refund. I called and they said to wait a few days. I called 2 days later and they said they would call me back. I called again the next day and a woman informs me there’s not been a manager at that location for 3 months and all I can do is raise a ticket. I informed her that I had multiple times and she said there was nothing she could do for me. I’ve now spent nearly $50 on a smoothie and a veg wrap, have been lied to, hung up on and had the phone passed from person to person when I call… and all I want is a refund. Awful, awful, awful customer service.

First location I've ever seen with a two story lobby. The inside felt a little damp and sticky but the service was decent (minus getting my name wrong on the order) but the SunRise Sunset I ordered came out great, as usual from the places. Which is a good thing because I only made it through two bites of my last desert before getting almost physically sick from the amount of sugar. I'm leaving for the road home knowing I'll be correctly hydrated and vitamin replenished.
