THERE WAS A HAIR IN MY SMOOTHIE AND I PULLED IT OUT OF MY MOUTH
Hi-first time ever rating anything because I try not to be petty and let small things get to me BUT today did it for me…
I ordered ahead through the app- per usual- went in and grabbed my food with no delay or issues and brought it back to my job for my lunch break. I was half way done with my smoothie when I felt something…stringy in my mouth and pulled out a long black HAIR!
I just held it for a couple minutes in complete disbelief- I didn’t know whether to scream or gag… do they not wear hairnets?? Isn’t that against code??
I’ve been consistently ordering lunch from this particular location once every one to two weeks for almost a year now; and *to their credit* they have always had my orders ready and waiting on me once I get there- BUT they never say anything to me when I step inside- no “hello how are you?” or “how can I help you?” or even a simple “thank you!”
And their lobby’s always empty and quiet..like I’m the only paying customer inside this place of business… can I at least be acknowledged?
I don’t know maybe I’m just petty in that but they at LEAST need to wear hairnets because NOBODY wants to drop $10 for a hairy surprise in their smoothy- it’s absolutely disgusting..
I will be using up the rest of my rewards points at a different location and then probably finding something better… so much for a Friday sweet treat..

I don’t know if this location is family owned but THEY ARE RUDE AND NOT FRIENDLY! I was a first time customer and was expecting to be helped and treated accordingly but it was the complete opposite! WINCHESTER location is BETTER! They didn’t even want to give a complimentary cup of WATER 🤯

I am a frequent flyer at tropical smoothie (mostly Cordova location )unfortunately, I felt the need to leave this review due to food poisoning. The first incident was in 2023 so I chopped it up as bad fruit, second incident 2025 October pomegranate plunge sent me into stomach cramps and severe diarrhea. Please insist that you see the dates of the fruit being used in your smoothie.

Wish I can give them no starts. I went here ordered a sunrise sunset. It was made wrong. I asked if they can remake it they say no. I asked for a refund they say no. Because I drunk out of it. I only tasted it. That’s how I knew it was wrong. I know my little 8 dollars not gone hurt them. But I will not go here again.

I asked 3 times for napkins. We ate inside. 2 smoothies and 2 wraps. The wraps were very juicy and the napkins receptacles were empty. We were given 4 napkins after asking 3 times. AND the lady was unpleasant about it. Unfortunate experience. Do better!

I ordered through their app for pickup at this location. The wrong kind of chips were in my bag. I went to the counter to exchange them for the kind I selected in my order, and was told that the kind I was given was the only one they had in stock. I told him I don’t like these chips, so please just refund me for the price of the chips that I paid for. The young man, who stated he was the owner, then refused to give me my money back for the chips I had paid for that they didn’t have….I won’t be back.

I have been coming to this location for years and have never left disappointed. I often order the Chicken Pesto Flatbread and a Kiwi Quencher smoothie with Whey Protein added. I have tried a few other smoothies but that’s one of my favorite combinations. The staff have always been so helpful for me and they are very polite. Both the inside and outside are clean and tidy (including the restrooms). I will continue to recommend this place to anyone that asks.

I saw this place right next to the one and only bbq and I was curious about it but not enough to go inside and see what they had going on. I was under the impression that they only sold smoothies when in reality they sell food as well. Lunch was ordered from this place when I went to orientation for a job. I got the vegetarian hummus wrap. It was delicious and I would definitely order it again. I also ordered the maple syrup sweet potatoes and they weren't all that bad but I was not impressed with them. On my next lunch break, I'm going to go here to eat.
