Food has always been fresh, tasty and consistently good. Staff is always friendly and timely. This is probably the best Chinese restaurant in West Tennessee!
Absolutely fantastic family owned place to enjoy a wonderful meal. Love the owners they are so nice. 100% would recommend to anyone.
I recommend so many things about Happy Chinese! They have an extensive menu of very delicious meals and appetizers. The owners seem to be terrific hardworking people & do a tremendous job to please their customers. But, let me emphasize a few somethings that you should realize about this restaurant from an observer’s viewpoint!!!

Based on recent reviews, Happy Chinese | Wok & Sushi is a fantastic hidden gem. This restaurant offers generous portions of delicious food, with an extensive menu of very delicious meals and appetizers. Customers can enjoy Chinese dinners with superb Japanese appetizers. The food is always excellent, made to order, and comes piled high on a platter—never sitting in a big tub or baking under a heat lamp. The owners do the cooking and always greet customers with a smile; they are terrific, hardworking people who welcome their customers as friends. The staff is super cool, and even the kids can enjoy a meal with a joke and a chuckle. This is not a hip restaurant with trendy decor or speciality alcoholic beverages. It is a place serving Real Food made with Real ingredients by someone who knows how to prepare Real Chinese Dishes. It is a little off the beaten path, but worth investigating. Be patient if they cannot instantly answer the phone, as the couple is working hard. This restaurant is an example of quality food and service over a pre-cooked processed meal.
