Ay de mi! Que bueno! I spent the night in Monteagle, and wanted to try out Mi Casa. So glad I did! The waitstaff were both patient and helpful with my very rusty Spanish, and the food was exactamente what I wanted! The strawberry margarita was the first I've ever had that actually tasted like a traditional margarita with strawberry mixed in. Magnifico! I'm 68 and used to live near Denver, so that should say a fair amount about my margarita experience ... (I think...)
Driving by several times, we were never sure if this place was open or maybe just didn't exist anymore due to the unkempt nature of the outside. Looked it up and saw it was rated 4.4 and actually open so thought we would try it. Went for lunch today and were seated at an odd table in a booth that was so low, it touched out knees. They did move us after we asked. Looking around, the place was just dirty and nasty. Cob webs everywhere, the glass sign on the wall in the booth...read full review
