We were passing through on our way to Gatlinburg and decided to stop here for a quick supper; I'm glad that we did. The restaurant was clean, the food was great, and the service was remarkable. The guy working at the counter was friendly, polite, well-mannered, and very helpful. While I doubt that we'll ever be in Monterey again to eat at this DQ, we recommend it very highly. Good food + old-school service = a great meal.

I ordered a Butterfinger Blizzard at the drive-thru. It had more candy pieces than I usually find in a Blizzard. However, when I got to the bottom there was no candy at all. The line was slow. The girl at the window was nice.
