I had an okay experience at Akita Japanese Grill. The drive-thru was quick and the food was solid. However, I did find a small black piece of plastic in my chicken, which was disappointing. I almost accidentally ate it.

Also, I wish they had a larger menu with more options to choose from. Overall, it’s a convenient spot for Japanese flavors on the go, just with a bit of room for improvement.

This place is AWESOME! If your visiting from out of town, you want to got to this place! If you live in town I'm sure you go to this place! Oh, I just wish they had Sushi!!

Vegetarian options: Not really a vegetarian menu but you can hold the meat on any entree! Great Rice and Veggies!

Came here because of the reviews. I can’t help but feel so bad that people in TN don’t know what actual good food is, and think that this is it. I was absolutely APPALLED when I opened my tray. It was disgusting to even look at. You can tell immediately that their food is trash. After biting into it, it was not any better. Tasted even worse than it looked. People in jail get better tasting food than this. This was the most disgusting “hibachi” I’ve ever had in my life and I’m an avid hibachi eater. Please don’t think this is what that stuff is supposed to taste like because it’s not. Literally dog food looks more appealing.

I always enjoy having Akita. Great food great price great folks

The staff are very polite, the food is excellent and the check to see how you are doing. I like to drizzle my Shrimp Sauce all over my food so I can get a good taste when I get a fork full

Eating here first time. It’s a rare experience to find a restaurant where you get amazing food and amazing service. The employees were so pleasant I wanted to invite them to sit and eat with us! They made sure drinks were topped off constantly and were smiling the whole time. I will be back… a lot!

Honestly the best hibachi around! Ive never gotten anything bad from here and they're always so nice.

Dietary restrictions: Mushrooms make my dad sick and they made his on a separate grill.

Absolutely love this place! Always have. My favorite is steak and shrimp extra shrimp sauce and broccoli. Yes the price is a little high but it’s worth it to me. Also it’s not on the menu but you can order steak and steak which just gives you a bunch of steak with the rice and stuff. They are clean inside and out. People in drive through are always very nice and going inside is fine too just not my favorite thing to do ?
