Just had taco John’s for the first time. I heard about them 15 years ago but never had it until now. I was a little concerned with some of the reviews but went through the drive thru and the person who took my order was pleasant, the food was hot and fresh and delicious. The tacos are not authentic Mexican but for me they had a delicious nostalgic taste that was just amazing and I did not expect the food to be that good. I was driving down the interstate wishing I had ordered more just for the taste alone. I ordered the $7 meal deal and one additional beef taco and I was pretty full but would have happily eaten another beef taco. Well done taco John’s!!! I wish you had a Knoxville location you would do well here.

Do Not Recommend - Be Cautious with Your Credit Card I'm writing this review to warn others about a serious issue I experienced at this Taco John's location. The food was fine, but a person who handled my credit card for payment processed a transaction to buy gift cards online shortly after I left. It was clear that my card information was compromised during my visit. While I can't be sure who did this, it is a significant security concern and makes me very wary of returning. I have reported the fraudulent activity to my bank and wanted to share my experience so others can be aware and take precautions. This is a very disappointing and concerning experience, and for this reason, I cannot recommend this location!

I drove 4 hours to get to this taco John’s and it was a terrible experience we were the only people in the restaurant and my taco was cold it was not a pleasant experience the potato ole’s were very good and fresh but I do not recommend this restaurant

They give a military discount where Taco Bell doesn’t anymore.
So I went and got a super six pack and a pound of crispy tacos and two large potatoes. I get home. My potatoes is soggy stuck together soggy like soaking wet and my tacos is like so stale. You can't even eat it. I was so mad I did not want to leave a review nor call them yesterday. $54.48 cent just wasted I ant happy at all

Super clean restaurant. Food is great. But, the employees are super nice. The cashier was super nice. Talked to my kiddo. My kid had tripped and fallen. She came out to check on her and then checked on her again before we left. Most places, employees would be upset that a kid accidentally spilled their drink when they trip and fall. But, the woman wasn’t upset about that at all. She was just worried about my kiddo falling.
I also saw their Pokestop for kids and the coloring station that they have set up. My daughter colored her a picture of her favorite Disney princess. It was a very peaceful place.

Moved from Nebraska where these are very popular and quite common. It was great to see a location was semi close but wish we had one in Knoxville or Oak Ridge.
