Tennessee Jack’s on the Town

This is the third time I’ve given this place the benefit of the doubt after hearing their desperate radio ads promoting “low prices” because they were in need of business. I wanted to support them, but each visit has been disappointing. Today (Friday around 5pm), you’d think the waitresses would be energized and ready to give good service — especially since tips depend on it. Instead, we sat for over 10 minutes without even being asked what we wanted to drink. This has happened on all three visits. I’ve never been to a restaurant where I’ve had to keep asking myself, “Is someone coming to our table, or should we just leave?” That’s a terrible feeling as a customer. It’s clear this “small business” isn’t prioritizing service, and whoever is running Tennessee Jacks needs to step it up. Do better, because right now… you’re losing customers.

Food is really good. This is the second time we've had Rebecca. She's really friendly and works really hard to make sure we're taken care of. I appreciate that, and I appreciate a good local restaurant.

Terrible experience. We waited over an hour for our food ... steak tips and a bowl of chili. Felt like we were completely forgotten about. When my steak tips arrived, it was ice cold and was cooked well instead of my ordered medium.

Manager was called over and I explained our experience and she gave an excuse of being very busy. Obviously busy was not the reason my steak was ice cold. I was offered to get another steak, but we were not prepared to spend another hour waiting.

We waited another long while to get our bill. I finally had to approach our server for it and she very rudely told me to wait because she had to put in an order. While waiting I noticed there were only 2 patrons seated in their dining room. The server made a point to tell me again they were busy.

It is obvious that we were forgotten about and our food left to sit and get cold. Instead of admitting the error, we were met with excuses, lies, and rudeness by both the server and the manager.

In fairness, the steak was taken off the bill, but that did not make up for the way we were treated or the time wasted. Needless to say, we will never return to this restaurant again and im writing this review for others to know to look elsewhere if you are one who appreciates good and timely service or professional waitstaff.

The portions here are small. The appetizer could barely count as a snack for one person. The “whole chicken Philly” had maybe a quarter of a chicken breast hiding inside. Sides are about $5 each, and the servings are so small it feels more like a sampler than a meal. I had to eat the pick-4 appetizer, the chicken Philly, and three sides—and still went home hungry at 185 lbs.

The food is ok. The fried oysters tasted like nothing but breading. Medicore rating. The portions were small.

Let 'em say we're crazy, for feeling heart to heart on this restaurant. But the oysters are on point, looking in my wife's eyes, it seemed she'd found paradise.

First time eating here! We loved it ! Great atmosphere and service was phenomenal! Tim was great ! Great selection! My husband had steak and it was seasoned to perfection and tender! Burger was phenomenal! I had the shrimp platter ! It was delicious! We will be back! 10+ star review!!!

Had crab legs they were very good

We ordered the blackened Salmon with Cole slaw and baked potato, fried clam strip platter and fried oysters platter. Everything was absolutely delicious, the service was wonderful and there was no wait time to be seated, with a wait time on food of maybe 10 minutes. Highly recommend, but note that cash is preferred, as credit card transactions incur processing fees.

Great place to meet up with freinds and family for eating food.

This unassuming restaurant is located in a little corner of an unpopular shopping center. The food was so good!! We went around 5pm during the week. I had a strawberry salad with grilled chicken. It bower me away. So delicious. My husband had meatloaf and loved it. My granddaughter had a huge grilled cheese sandwich from the kids' menu. It was excellent. The service was great. I wish I could remember her name, but she was kind and patient. I woukd certainly recommend this place!

Real pleasant experience. Our server was exceptional. I ordered the catfish. It was good. The carrot cake is delicious 😋😋. Good place to eat. Stop by.

Great food great place you gotta eat here

2 7oz sirloin meals no drinks no appetizers and one child’s meal no drink plus I could not call it in over phone because they wasn’t accepting calls so after driving there and I waited 1 hour. And the order was 80 dollars like how? Steak was supposed to be medium rare and it was well done.
