The Southern Baking Co. Reviews
Stopped in to grab a sandwich based on the recommendation of the employees at a local bank.
I am so happy I did! The only thing I'm regretting is not trying some of the baked goods. I got a ham/turkey sandwich and the pasta salad. Both were fantastic. I'm assuming the lady I was dealing with is the owner and she was unbelievably nice. Atmosphere was relaxing.
Hands down going to be one of my regular spots for lunch. Can't wait to try the breakfast and the baked goods!

This place is such a gem. I stopped in to knock out some paper work, and was not expecting the service and atmosphere. I’m rarely in the area, but a definite stop when back
What a great place! My iced coffee was delicious and I got so many great things upstairs at Sweet Maggie Rose!

The Southern Baking Co. is a gem in Spring Hill, just outside of Thompson's Station. The food is very good and delicious, with great pastries and a solid selection. Guests have enjoyed the breakfast croissants sandwich, the chicken panini, a ham/turkey sandwich, and the pasta salad. The coffee is thoughtful and delicious. Service is friendly and inviting, with hospitality that is a 10 out of 10. The atmosphere is relaxing, and the different rooms and spaces to dine in are loved. This little family-owned business offers an inviting cafe, a one-stop destination for the family with a little ice cream shop upstairs, and events from catering to balloon displays and a tea room. The history of the home, built in 1865, alone is worth the trip. It is a great place for brunch or lunch and is both kid friendly and refined. Many would not know this is a restaurant, so something should be done about the facade.
