I forgot the name of the gentleman who I talked to but he was very helpful in selecting a craft beer that matched my taste. Probably the best bar I had while visiting TN I wanna say his name was Cain but I forget but if and when I go back to TN this is the spot I will frequent.

It's our kind of dive bar. Getting off Broadway is the way to go. Got great service sitting at the bar.

Found this quaint pub in the alley; proper Guinness, good music, and a great local bar.

Alley Taps overall is a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxed experience with excellent drinks and great service from Brittany and Kyle. They always have the game on or live music. I have been to several bars in the area as I have lived in Nashville for years and I always return to this one it has become a favorite recently. It’s also much easier to access than other downtown bars. Recently sent several of my visiting friends from Kentucky there.

This place sucks. Not only are the musicians horrible, the sound guy is even worse (if they even have one). I came in here for a couple of beers and they immediately charged me $50 just to open a tab. It’s been three days and I haven’t seen that back in my account. My tab is was $22.98.
Please don’t waste your time or money here, it’s the most pretentious expensive experience in all of Nashville with wildly douchey musicians.

When we have to be on or near Broadway, this is our go-to as it's a little less chaotic and the partitioners are less crazy parties.

Dropped in this last Friday, the trio providing the music was awful. The vocals were hurting. Don't know who they were, but I hope they are not there all the time.

We hit up Alley Taps after a Predators game. We wanted something fun but a little off Broadway. I think this place was a perfect balance of still super active but not so slammed we couldn’t find a table.
Drinks were nicely priced, we had beers and JD shots, as you do in Tennessee. We did not eat though
Live band was good, playing rock covers. Good volume, we could all still chat.
