“I would consider this one of the best quick food places to eat in Nashville. The food was great and the service was extremely nice and fast with orders. We had the crispy magic dumplings first which were exactly that. Magic! The other dishes were an order of noodles and pad kra pow. Both full of flavor and spice like no other. Simple sit down restaurants dont usually have these types of flavor options for under $100. Can't beat it.“

“We had a few friends out to go to dinner at Sunda. To start this review, Mario and Justin were awesome. It really seems like the staff works very well with Mario and has a good time. Our group gave a some creative license on the food to Justin, who was serving us. The whole experience was one of a kind and truly exceptional. We had a few bottles of wine and some of the sake. Everyone at the table enjoyed what Mario, the manager, suggested for appetizers. We started off with some interesting sushi, spicy edamame, and shishito peppers. One creation called the Great White was beyond belief. Try it if you are in. A few more sushi creations went around the table were the salmon crudo, the yuzu tuna, the tuna truffle pizza, and the smoke show (which was a cool little presentation). My wife had the Tom Yum Sea Bass which was short of amazing. I had the pancit canton with chicken, which was the simplest of all of the adult dishes. Justin brought out a huge "boat" of sushi for one of my friends. It was probably one of the most adventurous and tasty sushi dishes I have ever seen. If you have kids, you know it means a ton when your child really loves their dinner. Mario suggested a salmon bento box, of which the kid loved every bite. The lychee mochi ice cream was a great dessert to end with. Mario sat with us for a few discussing the food and my child trusted his opinion on food so much she tried her first, second and third salmon nigiri! To finish we had the Ube pie and the bibingka cake because I like Ube and Filipino food. The pie was great but the bibingka cake took the show. It had an amazing flavor profile. The service was probably the best I have ever had. The staff's knowledge of the menu and what will pair well was on point. We cannot wait to go back after the holidays! Billy Dec did an amazing job with this restaurant and definitely has the right staff for Nashville. Be adventurous with your food and enjoy your experience here. You will not regret it! Mario and Justin-- appreciate the hospitality and awesome experience!“

“Loved it so much we went every day for a week. Food was great, service great. Would continue to go every day but needed to go back home to Baltimore. Love it love it love it Great experience service was the best and we are world travelers.“
“We went for our anniversary, the very first restaurant I’ve ever been to that actually acknowledged it after asking at the reservation! The staff was awesome! The waitress was friendly, attentive and was just perfect! The food was outstanding with portion sizes just a little bit bigger than we could eat which I like, not so much I have to take half home. And the best part was when our waitress brought out a dessert and wished us a happy anniversary! It was a perfect chocolate covered chocolate mousse, perfect size for us to share! We’ll definitely be going back!“

“There are so many people who work in the food industry that hate their job and they let you know with how they communicate. Charles at Eastern Peak is the opposite. He loves his job and it shows in his service and care. So refreshing. Thanks Charles!“

“I tried the Bulogogi fries and it was very good, very filling and bursting with flavor. I also tried the devil miso ramen with pork, fishcakes, eggs and seaweed and a side of extra vegetables. The ramen was so good as well, but I’m biased to ramen :)“

“New England transplants, this one’s for you. We recently moved from NH to TN and quickly realized Chinese food here hits differently. This spot is hands-down the closest we’ve found to back home.
Steak in a stick = beef teriyaki (a little well done, not chewy like back home), the rice is spot on, and the sweet and sour chicken is basically chicken fingers (more nugget-sized, but my kids were happy). The garlic chicken wings are just like Kowloon’s Saugus Wings.
If you’re craving New England–style Chinese food, this is the closest you’ll get.“

“Look.....this isn't your fancy 195 items buffet. This is the 50-60 staples that you know. I like it because I can get the whole assortment of chicken dishes without having to cook them. Teriyaki chicken on a stick, Good. General Tso Chicken, Fair. Sweet and sour chicken, fair. Pepper chicken, fire. Honey chicken, fire. Chicken and broccoli, good. The fried rice is legit, not the yellow rice with half-cooked frozen vegetables and mini shrimp. Just teriyaki fried rice. good stuff. chinese donuts on point. now....they had peach cobbler...yall gotta work on that, need some cinnamon in there for sure and some more butter in the dough gonna make that topping fluffy. Didn't get a look at the sushi. The entire buffet has steam coming out of it, not sure how it can be called cold. At least 3 different cooks came out 10 times in half an hour. Replaced 10+ dishes. So refreshing at least 20% of the buffet every half hour. There's not a lot of people eating in but there's a ton of take out. People filling up them containers. With water it was $17, that's what you pay for one take-out general tso combo. get you some dragon phoenix.“

“This was my wife's idea. I know, shocking that a wife can decide where to eat. LOL It was an excellent choice. We ate way more that we needed, but wanted to try multiple things on the menu. This ain't exactly what we usually eat, and wanted to hone in on what we order for future visits. I'll just get the beef soup next time, but with extra beef. It was delicious. My wife will get a steamed bun and we'll share seared pork and cabbage dumplings.“
