This place every once in awhile tries to resurface the veneer. But. There's a racist vibe in here that they sort of revel in. And... they'll ban you if you call them out on it. There's a weirdo vibe between the owners and their core group of regulars and the rest of the regular patrons. They sit at their own table and sneer at everybody they dont like. It's very uncomfortable if you're not of their particular wypipo vibe. There's much better bars in the 'hood. Drinks? Basic. Menu? Even more so and they're always out of everything. The only thing it has going for it is location.

Thursday karaoke is a lot of fun. The staff is friendly but the technology is a bit antiquated. I also wish they would do more with the back area. It has a lot of potential. Although I really like the place and the people. I only give 4 stars because of tourism and what I think a newbie might experience there.

Great little hole in the wall incredibly friendly staff...minimal menu options but what you would expect from a "dive bar" feel... seems like the cook has some tricks up her sleeves but it's like off menu type things.

The handicapped stalls are blocked off by the owner of this establishment for his personal parking. He yells at anyone who parkes in the stall. I had 2 disabled friends with me. I Went to park in front of the bar one of my friends got out of the car and was instantly told to move. I was driving and was on the phone in the car. We had planned to go into the bar and have a couple beers. My friend went into the store next door in fear and not knowing what to do. I backed up into a different parking place. And whet in to see if he was okay. He was not he was extremely upset. It is extremely challenging for him to get out of the house and go do anything. Upon leaving the neighboring store we were told by three different people they had also been yelled at by the owner for the same thing. That's just not right. I have no idea how their service or anything else did we didn't even make it into the bar. We did not feel welcome. I will never go there no matter what.

This bar is the absolute best. Good vibes. As a neighborhood bar there are many regulars. It’s almost like a 2nd family. The “Cheers” of Nashville. The bartenders always will look out for you and the owners do the same. Great place to hang out and have fun.
