Unbelievable chicken, unbelievably hot. Do not underestimate the validity of the 1-10 scale. Anything over 6 is not for most, 9 makes you cry, convulse, and hallucinate. 10 will likely put you in the hospital and ruin your day. Don’t do it. I can really handle spicy, Thai spice, ask for 10/10 at most places… not here. Don’t do it. Amazing chicken and friendly people. Sunny chipotle sauce is amazing.

I almost went to the hospital after eating the 10 spicy hot chicken sandwich. They told me 8 times not to do it. My friends told me 10 times not to do it. Random bystanders advised highly against it. I got halfway through the chicken sandwich and I was in so much pain I took three Tums, two Pepcid, chugged Pepto Bismol, bought a half gallon of milk and some ice cream, housed all of that, went to the bathroom and threw up and was debating going to the emergency room for about 3 hours. All in all, 10/10 experience, great service, great atmosphere, tasty chicken, highly recommended. Very refreshing for a 10 spicy to actually be dangerously hot. Would not attempt if you do not have health insurance.

I can’t speak to the hot chicken as my friend and I split a quesadilla but it was very good!

The crunch, the spice, the massive size.. one of the best hot chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had

Absolutely amazing. The burger is one of the best I've ever had in my life and I eat a lot of burgers. Their hot chicken hash brown is amazing too. I've had their hot chicken before and it was absolutely amazing.

Also, just a side note. I was on my motorcycle and extremely limited for space, they made some changes to make my whole order fit in my backpack and I couldn't be more appreciative. 10/10 must try if you're curious.

Best hot chicken in Nashville. They even give you a discount if you bring a picture of your cat! :)

Once upon a time in Thailand, I ordered a Thai salad. The server asked if I wanted it spicy. I puffed up my chest and said, “Yes, spicy.” He raised an eyebrow. “Thai spicy or American spicy?” he asked, already knowing the answer. “Thai spicy,” I replied with full confidence and zero survival instinct. What arrived at my table was less a salad and more a culinary fire drill. It was 98° in temperature and 10,000° in attitude. One bite in and I was transported to the gates of Mount Doom—eyes watering, soul leaving body. It was glorious.

Fast forward to today at Brave Idiot—my friend and I became the actual brave idiots who dared to tango with the infamous level 9. We started humble: three level 3s, three level 7s… then, like true spice warriors, we summoned one (yes, just one) level 9 and split it into six modest, fear-soaked pieces. Each of us took a bite the size of a communion wafer… and spent the next 20 minutes contemplating our life choices in silence and tears.

Now don’t get me wrong—I LURV spicy food. I chase heat like some people chase clout. But this? This was a different realm. A spiritual awakening via capsaicin.

All that said, the chicken? Juicy, flavorful, perfectly seasoned. The heat doesn’t overpower—it seduces, then slaps. And the cacio e pepe pasta salad? Chef’s. Freaking. Kiss.

Highly recommend this spot for all your Nashville hot chicken dreams and near-death experiences. Just don’t say I didn’t warn you about levels 8–10. Proceed with caution… and a gallon of milk.

One of the best burgers in town!

Authentic style Nashville hot chicken with a twist. This is a must stop spot for locals and travelers alike. They usually offer the traditional chicken tenders, but the rotating menu allows for a different experience every time you visit. Everything I’ve had here is absolutely delicious. Make sure you look at the menu the day of your visit. If you need a drink you can hop into No Quarters for a Coke or beer.
The heat levels are true to Nashville fashion, so make sure you order a lower heat level on the menu if you don’t have much affinity to spicy food.

Best hot chicken in the city hands down. I suggest anyone that loves hot chicken try this you'll be hooked and forget about the other places. Disappointed they're temporarily closed curious what's going on.

Definitely one of the best restaurants or food trucks in the city that also makes the spiciest hot chicken I've ever tried by a longshot, even compared to the max heat levels at places like Princes, Hattie B's, Bolton's and others while still having a felicious authentic flavor. The double smash crunchwrap was also one of the best food items I've ever tried in my life which I also highly recommend trying. Everything here in general tastes exceptionally high quality and the prices especially for a food truck are reasonable.

The chicken quality here is amazing - best fried chicken I’ve ever eaten in my life - not exaggerating and I’ve eaten a lot of fried chicken. Their food truck is located behind a really cool place called No Quarter Pinball bar.
