Boutique hotel with an eclectic vibe and decor. Super cute lobby area. We had breakfast daily downstairs and unfortunately only had time to visit the rooftop bar once. It’s a beautiful rooftop bar with happy hour specials. The gym is actually just down the road as they have a partnership with them. All you have to do is stop by the front desk and get your daily passes. We drove in so took advantage of the onsite parking on the lower level. Easy to get an Uber from here and there...read full review
My recent stay was extremely disappointing and far below expectations. From the moment I arrived, the attitude and lack of professionalism from the front desk set the tone for the entire visit. Staff members were dismissive, unhelpful, and at times outright rude. Questions and concerns were met with eye-rolling, impatience, or excuses rather than any attempt to actually resolve the issues.
The accommodations themselves were also unacceptable. The room was not properly maintained,...read full review

Short Stories - Café & Cocktails is a charming boutique hotel with an eclectic vibe and cozy decor. Its super cute lobby sets a welcoming tone, and guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast downstairs with excellent options like hotcakes, corned beef hash, and omelets, all served with friendly service. The rooftop bar offers a beautiful setting with happy hour specials, though visits are often limited. The hotel’s partnership with a nearby gym makes working out convenient, and onsite parking adds to the ease of stay. Located within walking distance of many local dive bars, it’s a great spot for exploring Nashville’s nightlife.
The restaurant attached to the hotel provides a cozy ambiance and serves tasty brunch choices, including veggie sausage and vegan biscuits as alternative options. The sourdough avocado toast is highly praised for its great garnishes. Guests enjoy the quality of ingredients and the overall deliciousness of the food, though some mention slow service and inattentiveness—refilling drinks and checking on guests could improve. Prices are on the higher side, but the food is worth it for many. Friendly staff contribute positively to the experience, making it a good place for a quick bite or brunch if service improves. Overall, Short Stories offers a delightful mix of good food, inviting atmosphere, and convenient location in Nashville.
