Cellar Bar is a great local bar and a comfortable, unassuming place in the heart of downtown Nashville, located between the madness of Broadway and Nissan Field. It offers a nice, relaxed vibe with reasonably priced drinks and food, a bit cheaper than Broadway, with good service. The bar features two steel-tip dart boards, two pool tables, a jukebox, and a unique vending machine. There is a savage array of drinks including draft beers, cider, imported beers, and local options. While parking can be a challenge, it is a solid bar with a moody atmosphere, super clean toilets, and reasonable music volume. It is not a country bar or a night club, making it a perfect gem for those finding the honky tonk rat race too much. It is a great watering hole to check out, especially on football Sundays with specials.
