This is one of the best meals I have had in Nashville. I got the Economy three-course meal option and I highly recommend the Moroccan Meatballs as a first course. The service was great, and the drinks were pretty good. I highly recommend this restaurant for a group.

I just got the sausage biscuit off of their brunch menu and OMG that was the absolute best biscuit I have ever put in my mouth. Very crispy outer layer but still very buttery and soft just below the crispy/ flaky exterior. Amazing!

Our server was incredible! Kind, knowledgeable about the menu, food and beverage pairings, and made our first visit quite exceptional! The pork chop is delicious and so are the Moroccan meatballs! It did get pretty loud in there, and we were having a work dinner, so it was a little hard to have good conversation at times.

Sorry but C&U was a big disappointment. Creative menu, yes, but poor execution and mediocre service left us very annoyed. House-made hummus was very good but paired with overly salty flatbread. Beef tartare was nicely seasoned and fresh but fried wonton instead of bread was a miss. Crab cake was delicious but accompanied by bizarre raw potato and too much lemon. Lamb burger had a “secret sauce” that was thin and merely destroyed the bun, making it a knife and fork burger. French fries were terrific though. We might have ordered dessert but waitress brought the check before we'd even finished our wine. In fact, service was inconsistent and showed a lack of experience. In a town with many good options, there are better choices.

Phenomenal experience... I am highly impressed with the quality of the food, the relaxed personal atmosphere and the professionalism of the business... I highly recommend this place for couples looking for a quiet intimate setting with impeccable service.

Service was great and we really enjoyed the apps and dessert. The entrees were ok but some items were overcooked (pork and fried chicken). Definitely more popular with tourists than locals

This was my second visit to Church and Union and it was much improved from the first visit. The food was good and the service was great. It was a bit louder than I like it, but that is to be expected on a Friday night in Downtown Nashville.

First time at this restaurant, found it using Open Table. Very busy restaurant. The food was great and brought out when ready. My only complaint would be service. Out waiter was given 2 large parties after we were seated and they were high maintenance. She did have another server take over our table. But the restaurant lost out on sales, drinks and dessert because of the time for them to take care of us. But the food was great. Our server apologized.

Impressive plates prepared by celebrity chefs. Great atmosphere, wonderful service. Employees were professional and well trained. I attended a 5 course dinner event- all dishes were plated with perfection and dishes were served with perfect timing.... The restaurant was still open to the public, but the staff pulled a curtain which separated the party creating an intimate setting.
