Church and Union Nashville offers an upscale yet fun dining experience. The restaurant's economy gastronomy tasting menu and a variety of dishes are often praised as excellent, with diners enjoying meals like meatloaf, filet mignon, ribeye for two, and salad with chicken. Appetizers such as meatballs, pork belly, fried green tomatoes, and tuna tartare are also well-liked. The Baked Tennessee in a cup with toffee has received special appreciation. The atmosphere provides a lively vibe and cool decor, making it a good choice for a special occasion or a more romantic setting. The service is frequently described as excellent, with staff being attentive and professional. Customers have highlighted the chef's hospitality, such as providing a complimentary hummus appetizer. While the overall experience has been praised, some diners have noted that the noise level from large groups can sometimes make it difficult to hear their own conversation.
