Pretty good place for a bite to eat
Recommended dishes: Street Tacos, Rice and Beans
The food was really bad. The waiter couldn’t understand the order and so didn’t make the substitute we asked for.

Hadn’t visited this location in a while. Had a party of 6. Dining room was pretty full and it can often times be difficult to hear across the table. High ceilings acoustically will do that. Food is always good although on this occasion it seemed to take much longer than usual. Chips, salsa and guac were warm and fresh. Meals were served piping hot and the orders were all correct. Service was a bit delayed and I feel bad saying it but her ESL needs some practice and patrons will need some patience. Overall still an excellent meal at this location.

The food was great. We were brought two receipts for the higher of the two orders that were placed. After paying we noticed that one of us paid too much and instead of issuing a refund to the person who was over charged the waitress had me to pay the difference which caused me to over pay for my order. The food was great but because of this issue I will never eat here again.

I need to make an annoyingly great review on a Mexican restaurant referencing the culture atmosphere and a little Spanish at the end

Absolutely — here’s an “annoyingly great” review with flavor, culture, and just enough Spanish flair at the end:
If I could give this place 17 stars, a mariachi band, and a standing ovation, I would.
From the second you walk in, you’re not just entering a restaurant — you’re stepping straight into the heart of Mexico. The colors, the music, the energy… it feels like a fiesta broke out and nobody told you to leave. The atmosphere is vibrant without being overwhelming, warm without being cheesy, and authentic in a way that makes you forget you’re just out grabbing dinner on a Tuesday.
And the food? Unreal. Every bite tastes like somebody’s abuela is in the back making sure you don’t embarrass yourself by not finishing your plate. The flavors are bold, balanced, and ridiculously fresh. The salsa has that perfect kick that makes you sweat just enough to feel alive. The tortillas taste like they were made five minutes ago.
The staff treats you like family — the good kind. Attentive, friendly, proud of what they serve. You can tell this isn’t just a business; it’s a passion project rooted in culture and tradition.
Bottom line: if you haven’t eaten here yet, you’re doing life wrong.
10/10. I’ll be back faster than you can say, “Otra ronda, por favor.”

We went last evening to celebrate a birthday. We hadn’t been in probably four months or so. The prices have gone up as with most places. The food did not taste as good as we remembered. The salsa was so spicy, the meat had a very odd taste to it. Almost like if you buy something from the store on the last day it is good. We had a pitcher of margaritas and it was sour mix. That’s it. It was so weak. They also didn’t include the alcohol tax in the price of the drink and charged us extra for it. And to top it off, charged us $3 extra dollars for using a credit card. It is definitely not a place I plan on going back to. I get restaurants are hurting but for our total bill - we could have bought filets and ate at home.

This is a great low frills place to eat with excellent customer service. This is the kind of place I always return to after trying higher end establishments with disappointing results. The salsa is good, the margs are solid. The ambiance could use a refresh, but I prefer great food and service over ambiance. Definitely a local fav.
My boyfriend and I go all the time. The food is always amazing!!! Place is really nice and the staff are always wonderful to interact with. We go for date nights all the time.
