Mr. George Reed was very kind to me and he introduced me to the“Arnold Palmer” drink. I don’t think I met his wife, but there is a beautiful painting of them in the restaurant. I’d give it 10 stars if it will let me. Quantity place and I’m glad such places still exist in this corporate world. If you are out and about with the family, definitely come and check it out. So very lucky to have found City Cafe East. It's owners are amazing and caring people. I happened to have come in late in the day for lunch. All the food was fresh and delicious! I ended up getting dinner to go because the food is so good. I truly enjoyed my food and the friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended!!
Delicious home-cooked food and the most friendly people you'll ever meet. This is good old fashioned country cooking with a small town feel in the city. Things move a little slower here, but that's not a bad thing. The owners take time to personally talk to you and ask about your day instead of just slapping food on your plate. This place is a gem.
