“I love 8th and Roast. It’s my fave coffee shop in Nashville that I’ve discovered so far. I’m disappointed to discover Little Bear Latte was only a seasonal beverage because it’s the only drink I ever got there. I’m not a huge fan of the new seasonal drink. So I’m not sure what to drink there now. :( I love the cozy, relaxing atmosphere and they have a great loyalty card program. 8th and Roast is a must.“

“Let me start off by saying that atmosphere and great food can be hard to come by in Nashville. It's usually one or the other but HERO really takes the cake. From Autumn making the best shakes in town to Jay running the show, this was an absolutely wonderful experience. Please come out and support them in their quest to make Nashville food great!

“Spacious, quiet, comfortable. That’s immediately what Barista Parlor feels like upon entering. Located in the W hotel, you can enter through an almost-side-door or through the main hotel lobby (just go right once inside). There are several seating areas on a unique, tiered floor plan that adds a lot of privacy to each arrangement. The asymmetrical floor plan also has an integrated wheelchair ramp which makes the entire coffee shop accessible. The menu is fairly simple which facilitates quicker decisions on which drink to pair with the room’s atmosphere. Along the back wall is a gift shop (not associated with the coffee shop) and a private lounge area (accessible with a hotel keycard). Definitely a great spot to come in and hang out for a few hours.“

“We make our own Iced mochas at home using our Pasquini espresso machine and our Super Jolly coffee commercial grinder. We started using Eighth and Roast espresso beans and we are enjoying the taste!“

“Honestly one of the few coffee spots in Nashville that doesn’t feel like it’s trying too hard. The space is clean but not sterile, and the music was actually good (not just lofi beats or random jazz). I got a bourbon vanilla latte and a sausage biscuit… both hit. Prices are a little high but it’s worth it for the vibe and the quality.

Sat at the counter for a while to do some email stuff, and no one rushed me out. Staff was nice but chill, like they don’t fake-smile at you which I actually prefer lol. Easy 5 stars.“
