Barista Parlor Germantown Reviews
Cool place, but they have to know that opening the garage doors when its below 50 is insane. Everyone is cold?? Are you trying to get people to leave?
This is a beautifully designed space with the largest garage door you've ever seen for nice-weather lounging. It's thoughtfully designed for people who want to come for a coffee with a friend or a work session. They've thought of every detail, and I particularly appreciate (as an architect) that even the mechanicals and the conduit layout is beautiful. The cups have custom artwork, the tables have custom engravings. It's just nice.

Cashier couldn’t hear or understand much of what I was saying . They were unable to serve breakfast due to “ not making anything yet “. (It was past 10am) Disappointing, was really looking forward to a vegan breakfast here . The only non dairy milk offered was oat milk ( high carb ) . I ended up getting a matcha with oat milk , It was ok but nothing to rave about . Service was meh . Line was very long upon arrival . Would only return if nothing else was open .
Barista Parlor Germantown is a coffee shop that offers a mixed experience. While the pour-over coffee is praised as very good, the quality of the drip and espresso can be inconsistent, ranging from great to "disgusting." The food options, such as the dry bagel and microwaved breakfast items, are not highly recommended, though some customers enjoy their sausage biscuit. The space feels clean but not sterile, with a chill vibe that doesn’t feel like it’s trying too hard. The music is good, not just lofi beats or jazz, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The staff are generally friendly and laid-back, and customers appreciate that they don’t fake-smile or rush you out. The atmosphere is described as "industrial chic" with an echoey, bare-bones aesthetic, but it provides ample seating and a comfortable environment for working or catching up with friends. Some note it can be a bit cold inside, so a jacket is recommended, and there are no vegan breakfast options. Despite occasional quality issues, Barista Parlor Germantown remains popular for its good coffee, friendly staff, and relaxed ambiance.
