“We had to come to this institution of Southern Meat and 3 Restaurants. As a Chef, I always seek out the best places in the cities I travel to. They won a James Beard Award in 2009. Met the Owner, Rose, and her son, Cahill. They bought is dessert which was this awesome Bread Pudding and Peach Pie that was just incredible. This is a place that shows what True Southern Food and True Southern Hospitality are all about. Thank You“

“Genuinely one of the nicest places in Nashville, most people recommend places such as Hattie B's Princes or Martins. However after stumbling across this place I can confidently say this was the most pleasant venue in all of Nashville, Ellistons has this beautiful timeless interior, really nice authentic southern food that you can tell has been cooked with care & friendly staff (I was looked after by Lynn) this place is absolutely worth the visit wether you're local or travelling from a different country.“

“This spot was recommended to us, and it was definitely worth the trip. The biscuits were everything you want, tasty, buttery, and perfectly flaky. Do yourself a favor and add a side of gravy. The chicken biscuit sandwich. So good. Honestly, this place makes you want to come back just to work your way through the whole menu.“

“I come here specifically to hear Miss Valeri Lopez sing every month!!!! Literally the highlight of my Friday nights. Her voice is INSANE and she never misses. Also, the espresso martini and truffle fries are perfection! The vibes and atmosphere are upscale and elegant. Such a fun night. Cannot wait to hear more from Valeri! Favorite date night spot.“

“We arrived at the Nashville location. Was told there was a 20-minute wait, we said OKAY and was seated. The greeter told us that they only had 1 cook and 1 waitress. Our waitress Tasha informed us that she was the only one to serve the entire place. We fully understood and look over the menu; she served everyone their drinks in the place. She took our order. We got are food and it was outstanding. The fish was cooked perfect, and our friends had the county steak, and it was amazing. My wife had the slow cooked roast beef, and she said it was outstanding. Overall, for having a short staff, they did amazing job. Tasha went above and beyond she tasks. I just wish other places would see and do what she did for her customers. We highly recommend this place and will return again.“
