The atmosphere was nice, with great music, that was @ a perfect volume. @ least for Sunday brunch. The waiter/server Taylor, was great from seating us to us leaving. This place has more "in house made" items than not ?! The amount of food & prices are awesome! **The "whipped bourin toast" is a must!** I had the shrimp & grits, which was spot on with the texture of the grits, the cook of the egg, the perfect shrimp & the creamy sauce. My wife, had the spicy chicken salad, & she cleaned her plate, which doesn't happen often! The carrot cake, is scrumptious, ty so much for that complimentary dessert, Taylor & common ground crew ????. COMMON GROUND is definitely a repeat for us!

Food was delicious and our server was very kind! We came for brunch and ordered the CHG Hash and the Carrot Cake French Toast to split, and WOW. Both were incredible, I could've eaten them twice over! The hash was succulent and the carrot French Toast was out of this world. We will definitely be back soon to try more of the menu!

My gf and I absolutely LOVED our experience at Common Ground. Our waiter was great, attentive, knew the menu well, and had a very welcoming personality. The foccacia was actually insane... My gf had the chicken caesar wrap which was really really good. I had the short rib hash. I can't eat eggs unfortunately.. so I got mine without the egg and felt the protein portion was quite underwhelming. My dish was also a little cold... But overall, we had a great experience. I probably should've requested a little more short rib since I couldn't have the egg, so maybe I'll try that next time! Will definitely be back.

Don't BNA Hole and sleep on Common Ground — gooooo! Now!! Service is always excellent; menu is well balanced — healthy options to comfort food — all delicious. The cocktail list (including NA options) is creative and complements the menu perfectly.

Driving around the new work neighborhood and I came across Common Ground. It said bar/restaurant, so I stopped in for some Grub.

Clean, bright interior with an old school bar with mirrored Common Ground sign.

Polite dude at the host station sat me and wrote up my order of a Chicken Sandwich (chicken, artichoke, bacon, spinach, lemon aoli) with Crispy fingerling potato's with CG sauce.

Really good Sandwich, loved the potato and the CG sauce was Dynamite.

Here's the Breakdown:

Good food in a bright, clean place served by polite people +5 stars.

I'll go back.

This was a gold star experience. We’ve just moved to the Berry Hill area and have been looking for “our spot.” You know the kind of place where late on a Friday afternoon you can unplug and relax over some happy hour beverages and bites, or a dinner. The service was excellent. The cocktails are some of the best-try the Bees Knees, one of my favorite cocktails in a long time. The shrimp taco is worth the hype and those potatoes with the dipping sauce…one word, yumbo. This is our place. Huzzah!

Parking: Nice to find a restaurant with plenty of easy, complimentary parking!

This was my second visit to Common Ground. My first visit was during dinner. This visit was during lunch. Awesome atmosphere. I look forward to dining at Common Ground again. Food was delicious!

Being a strict vegetarian makes fine dining complicated. Common Ground has a few good options. I had the avocado toast sans cheese, which was delicious. Unfortunately I also had the kale salad, sans xheese. It was inedible. Kale chopped to the consistancy of sand, orange carrot slivers, I guess, and a few embellishments. Dry, flavorless, ick. No one at my table would take more than a taste. Probably having it without the cheese was its ruin. Too bad. Waitress was great and helpful.

My friends and I were celebrating a birthday at Common Ground and we had a great time. Our server was the best, the food was extremely delicious and the all of the guest close to us were fabulous. Everyone helped us sing happy birthday and we shared birthday cake with those close by.

Despite having reservations, we still had to wait for almost an hour before our food orders were even taken, and then a very long wait until food was delivered. The restaurant wasn't that busy. Our waiter was often just staring into space. He came over at one point to say it wouldn't be much longer, but still. Nothing was done to accommodate the delay, we had to ask for refills on our drinks, and the food was just ok after such a long wait.
