I was glad to see a new restaurant moved into the old yellow porch location. They have made some nice changes. The dinning room is lighter and more open. They have added a beautiful bar and improved the outdoor space. The food was very good and also a good value. Our server was extremely nice and attentive. The manager talked to us and we all felt very welcomed. We are glad to have a nice little neighborhood gem like this. We will be going back soon!

Ordered a Smashburger to go, I guess the name comes from how flat they smash the patties. They had good flavor, but they get crispy around the edges when they are cooked flat like Steak n Shake patties. The bun was great quality, but the potatoes on the side were so wet and greasy, they made the bun a little soggy. Great flavor over all, just need to pay attention to detail in the kitchen, especially for an $18 burger.

I loved the vibe as soon as we walked through. Our server was so nice and attentive. Our drinks were never empty. Try the carrot cake French toast(may wanna share with a friend) it was so amazing. Definitely going to make this a regular spot to stop more often!!

The vibe was a little off but the food and drinks were delicious! Dinner prices were higher than expected for an “eatery”. I went on Tuesday night and the restaurant was practically empty which meant a very attentive waiter. I recommend the smashburger and potatoes!

This is a great place to eat for a date night or a girls n night out! The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and it was quiet enough that we could all hear each other! It's close to everything, but also tucked away from all the craziness 12th South has become.

I like Common Ground...while I thought there menu selection wasn't extensive, my halibut was great. Service was not terrible, but not great either. I'd come back, but it didn't become a favorite.

A couple friends and I came in for "Common Hour" (which is their version of happy hour) and had a great experience. Our server Michelle G. was so warm and inviting! She was intuitive and made amazing suggestions which made our experience all that much better. The drink deals are great and so are the appetizers. This was my first time here and I will be back!

Happy hour drinks and apps during the week make this a good spot to meet up with friends and family. The food was OK but pricy. They can pretty much make anything gluten-free on the menu except the obvious bread items.

While the food was good the drinks were a disappointment. Too much money for the small amount of memosa I got.

We had Michelle as a server and had the absolute best celebratory Common Hour experience. The values is incredible for Common Hour and we felt so comfortable and taken care of the entire time!

The experience and food were fantastic! Cassie was a perfect waitress. She guided us through the menu and made us aware of what we could eat with my party's food restrictions with ease. She was very attentive and knowledgeable!

Michelle was the BEST server I've encountered in a long time! Matt the owner was very personable. Atmosphere was great! Miss certain aspects of Yellow Porch - but Matt and partner did an incredible job on interior! Probably the best burger I've had in Nashville. We had a table of 4 - everyone loved their meals!

We had a fantastic experience visiting the Berry Hill Location for Happy Hour on a Tuesday. From the small plates, to appetizers, to our entrée everything was exceptionally delicious. We shared the Espresso Martini flight, which was a perfect preview; we also shared the banh mi small plate and the focaccia plate. We had the seasonal and the kale salad. Both were fresh and bright on our palates. We rounded out the meal with a martini and daquiri. We had a fabulous server and hostess; both whom we felt treated us as old friends. We will return.

BEST cocktails in Berry Hill by far. Common Ground bartenders just know what they are doing, from a dirty martini to a bacon fat old fashion, every time I try a new cocktail it seems to be the best of that style I've had in a long time. Their food is absolutely delicious as well, definitely try the beef tartar and the smashburger!
