The Cumberland Bar was an impromptu spot for us. We went to kill time. The bartender was quick and helpful. He made drinks and got us food in a quick manner. He even made us laugh when he gave us “boujee nuts”. They were delicious. He did make one drink that spilled over when he handed it off. I didn’t mind but I also could have seen him redoing it. I recommend this place but you will pay a higher dollar than other locations.Kid-friendliness: Would not recommend.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp

Bar under renovations. Food was not good. Service at 8pm was very slow. Took 30 minutes to get water and menus. There were 4 servers and a total of 10 customers including our table for 2. Very unimpressed.

I had an outstanding experience at the Cumberland Bar in the JW Hotel. The service was impeccable, and the mixology skills of the bartenders were truly amazing. Every cocktail was a work of art, and the staff was incredibly attentive. A five-star destination for those who appreciate top-notch drinks and service!

I stayed at the JW Marriott a couple weeks ago and had dinner and some drinks at the Cumberland bar. Staff was extremely friendly and gave great recommendations. I asked about places to visit with large groups and they were very helpful. Seems like a lot of locals like this bar which is always a good sign.

What a jewel! This lobby bar should be singled out even if you're not staying at the hotel! Fun cocktails (with fresh pretzels and nuts) and excellent food--shrimp salad toast with caviar, fried green tomatoes with pulled pork, and excellent flatbreads! Go have fun in this bright vibe with excellent people watching windows! Waiters were watchful without being intrusive which is a perfect combination for a bar!

I wish this was a more positive review because the JW Marriott was a great experience and the drinks at the bar were also great. Maybe it was an off night for the bar staff. Neither of the three bartenders (1 female and 2 males) were friendly or seemed like they wanted to be there. They also couldn't have cared less I was a customer there, even though the bar was relatively empty at 7pm. It was to the point I felt like I shouldn't even be there. You're better off at the bar on the 34th floor for excellent views and service.

The staff/bartenders were all super friendly! Located inside JW Marriott Nashville, I visited here a few times during my stay. Loved it!!!Great drinks and the wings and truffle fries we had were tasty! Of course, pricing is on the upper end but it's obviously for the convenience factor. No worries.I really enjoyed this bar. They had a great variety and some extensive bourbon menu. I was impressed!TVs are at the bar. Super cozy vibe/atmosphere. What's not to love!!!
