Akshay with Offline - Degthai in Brentwood is clearly a local favorite — and for good reason. Even close to closing time, people just keep walking in. It’s always busy, and that alone says a lot. What’s interesting is that despite the crowd, the restaurant operates without the traditional host/hostess setup. You simply order at the counter and then grab a table. It may feel different for those used to full-service restaurants, but it works surprisingly well here.

Everything was awesome!

After eating my food, I had to kick myself (several times) because I have driven past this place FOR FOUR YEARS and never stopped in.

Stopped in on Friday for lunch at the recommendation of a coworker. The moment you walk in the door, take a deep breath through your nose and savour all of the spices and smells from the kitchen. It's fantastic!
I had the Green Curry and the basil stole the show. All the flavors were so balanced and present. The staff was very polite and were just as outstanding as the food. I've already told 3 of my friends about this place. I will definitely be back.
