Consistently delicious southern soul food! Each order comes with your choice of meat, two vegetables, and fried cornbread. I especially love the meatloaf, green beans, and cabbage. The servings are generously sized and easily last me for two meals. For dessert they have very large squares of moist cake. The lemon cake is my favorite.
I relocated to Nashville so this was my first time here. The chicken and dressing was decent, a little too much sage. The baked chicken was great, really tender and the greens were the best… I had to go home and add yams and blk eyed peas. But overall, I will try them again.

Went for lunch got a meatloaf plate the meatloaf was salty so that was a disaster because I then got a headache so I didn't want it macaroni was fair also mashed pot was OK called told management bout it they told me to come back n they did apologize but I didn't go back cause I won't be going back ,I've been here several times but this was a bad experience so I'll wait awhile before going back

Recommended from a couple locals so i decided to give it a try.sampled the dressing first.turned out to be too cornbreadish without a lot of flavor so i passed on it.asked abt the catfish,was it real or swai.i was guaranteed it was real.the man stated his self he went to get it do he know.cool,i ordered the catfish,greens with turkey and navy beans.it was all trash a waste of my money.the fish turned out to be swai.it was seasoned well and fried to perfection but i couldnt eat it bc it was too mushy like the texture of swai.the greens had lots of meat no seasoning though and the navy beans was still a lil hard(undone).the staff was very friendly but the food was trash.
