Great food, very poor customer service. The old lady who takes orders is rude and unprofessional. She was trying to direct me into a different lane, although I was already in line. There was a car behind me so I did not know to whom she was speaking & gesturing. When I asked her if she was talking to me, she said, "Yes, I am talking to you. If you weren't so dumb you would know that since I am standing in front of you." I was speechless.....the lady then told me I needed to leave as she walked off and refused to serve me/take my order. This is the last time I will visit Ed's Fish House.

I went two Fridays in a row. Now, the first Friday the fish was so hot I couldn’t eat it. It was fresh and crispy. I went yesterday 3/8/25 I did not have the same experience. I’ll go back but not anytime soon.

All my years in Nashville and this was my first time going to Ed's Fish. I went thru the drive thru and it went fairly quick, but when I drove up I was expecting to see a menu before the lady in the drive thru asked me what I wanted. She rattled of their options like I should know already, so I kept it basic.

The food: fish was solid. Fries were regular frozen fries that are deep fried-not a big deal. But the slaw?! Clearly store bought. Like Kroger brand. No ma'am. Hush puppies--i wouldn't recommend.

So, all in all, I liked the fish, but there are so many other options in Nashville for Fried Fish with some better sides that I won't go out of my way to come back. So disappointed.

As a retired Navy veteran, it’s disappointing to hear that a fellow service member experienced such terrible customer service—not just from the staff, but from the owner as well. Businesses thrive on customer loyalty and respect, and once you start treating customers as expendable, your downfall is inevitable. I can guarantee that I will never support this establishment.

The fish was awesome. Best fish sandwich I've had in a while. But I must take away 1 start for the price. Over $22.00 for two sandwiches is a bit steep.

Great family owned restaurant. I stop here for a sandwich or 2 pretty much every time I drive through Nashville.

A fish sandwich was fresh and good, just like I remembered it 20 years ago. During lunch, the parking lot was changed to drive through only and the line was slow. Before we made it work the way though.
