For example I ordered the quesabrilla dish and the tacos didn’t have any fat and it wasn’t greasy !! They were perfect !

Oscar was very friendly and attentive! I couldnt decide so i tried the nacho with both chicken and steak. Both meats were cooked delicious and tender. They also have alcoholic beverages and that mango margarita had a kick! The price was very reasonable for the amount of food i had. The palce was clean and comfortable. Ill be back!

Wow, is an understatement. We had the caldo de Chiva, birria tacos, sopes and tostada de tinga. The tinga had amazing depth of flavor and melted in your mouth. The goat from the caldo de chiva was so tender and the flavor from the broth was unmatched. The Aguas frescas were made with fresh ingredients to order. And the service was fast and friendly. Really the definition of a hole in the wall restaurant if I could rate them higher I would.

I ordered a Menudo, it was hard and tasteless. The person at the checkout didn't even ask me how the servicing had been. The waitress didn't ask me if everything was okay either. So I ended up ordering 2 tacos because I already had a lot of man.

So happy to have a restaurant option on the north side of the river. I have been anxiously awaiting this place to open for the last few months. Authentic Mexican dishes, huge portions, and fast service. Highly recommend swinging through here for dinner or calling in a pick up order for lunch. I hope they offer an online order ahead option soon!

I opted for the vegetarian tacos de aire, a gluten-free dish featuring corn tortillas. The serving was generous, loaded with cauliflower, carrots, avocado, refried beans, onions, and green peppers atop fried corn tortillas.
This is the 6th location for El Cubilete which opened just two months ago. It occupies a formerly inconspicuous cinder block building, now painted with vibrant colors.
For an authentic Mexican meal, I highly recommend this spot.
