First time yesterday and we got a Turkey sandwich with everything and French fries. I couldn't finish my sandwich and had to get a to-go box and they were super friendly and asked how my meal was. 5 stars and can't wait to go back!

The woman at the register was mean … very mean with my wife a few times… my wife said to let it go… she was short and mean with my wife a few more times and then mean and unprofessional with me. I let her know I would leave her an honest review. She sent a security guard to our table … the guard was awesome and professional. We ate somewhere else and spent less money .

The lady owner yelled at me because I went for napkins a second time and ate pizza across from her. (I ordered a hot dog at her venue) but you could tell she was bitter that her business wasn’t as busy as the pizza place. I know napkins are expensive if you grab a whole bunch but I literally grabbed one more and she yelled at me. Me being poised and ex military I smiled and walked away but the old me would have told her my two cents. Awful. Don’t go here.

Expensive for what you get. I bought 3 hot dogs, 3 regular fries, a cheeseburger and a 12 oz fountain drink for $32 plus. These were not gourmet hot dogs or buns, just something you’d pick up at grocery store. Same for fries. I actually ordered a mushroom and Swiss burger, but she just made a regular cheddar cheeseburger instead. I didn’t catch it until I’d sat down at table in food court. Server was really nice, burger good, just underwhelming for price.

This was my first time to the Farmer's Market since COVID. It has changed a bit! Had lunch with my mom at Farmer's Market Deli, a place my mom enjoyed preCOVID. It was about the same with the two same women running the front end. Looks like they are spending a bit more for to go carriers since they know had cardboard boxes. (Nice update to the styrofoam). So the food. Mom ordered burger and fries with a Coke Zero. She asked for mayo but they gave her mustard (yuck - but momma made do). I had hot wings - hold the fries. Honestly the burger had enough fries for two. Despite the mustard, the burger was fine. My hot wings were just fried wings - nothing hot about them. Thank goodness for hot sauce to add the "hot". The one woman claimed they had some heat but I tasted nothing- not even seasoning- which was needed. To be honest, the deli is your run of the mill spot. Nothing ti write home about. But food is fresh and hot!

I ordered 3 eggs (over medium), sausage and toast based off of a photo I saw on their menu. The eggs looked horrendous and oily, the patties had been microwaved, and the toast was barely toasted. All for $12.

Any restaurant is a winner when they do simple things well. This little deli and grill makes popular simple food but the ingredients are very fresh and good quality. The meat is perfectly cooked. The tots and fries are crisp. I got a veggie wrap too and it was packed with flavor and ingredients. They always ask how you want your food topped and prepared, so they take care of your preferences. (Hot dogs you top yourself so that's the only exception.) The prices are great too. Perfect pairing with a walk on the capital mall, after visiting the library or museum, a trip through the farmers market outside, or even just a quick lunch downtown. (Parking was easy and plenty of it so we got in and out quickly.)I got food from here, a beer from the bar around the corner, and Jenni's ice cream, and I was done for the whole day, lol. I almost had to roll out of there.

They used to have very good sweet tea. The last few times I have ordered lg sweet tea, the tea has been sour, as if they are keeping the old tea and mixing with fresh tea. Nasty, Nasty. Almost 8.00 for 2 teas that are not fit to drink and wasting my money. If the HD taste their tea, they are going to know as well. NASTY, NASTY! APPARENTLY CUTTING CORNERS! We ordered a cheeseburger, black bean burger, and a turkey sandwich. All with fries. I didn't take pics of the food, which was a mistake because you can't see how delicious it looked. OMG... best burger in Nashville and the fries were amazing. Absolutely 5 stars. (I'm a local, not a tourist. I will return!)
