Flamingo Bar has always been one of my favorite spots — great vibe, good drinks, and just a solid place to hang out. One thing I wish I had known earlier though: they automatically add a 20% gratuity to the bill. I didn’t notice it for a long time and kept tipping on top of that. Still love the place, but it would’ve been nice if that was made a bit more clear.

Absolutely love this place! Every time I come in town from Chicago, we love to go dancing here. It's a beautiful space with fantastic music, wonderful staff and the owner Angela is delightful. I love coming here - it feels like the perfect mix of Lower East Side Manhattan dance dive meets WEHO Nashville chic. Love love love and will always continue to come back!

TLDR: they have a made up dress code and only enforce it to single people out if they think someone isn’t attractive enough. Even when the dance floor is half empty on a Saturday night at 10:30pm.
Ugh, as a nashville local, this place used to be fun and has so much potential. The place is aesthetically pleasing and the drinks are fine, but that’s about all they’ve got going for them.
The DJs are always so so mid. And all of the comments about inconsistent dress code enforcement are true. The owner seems to think Flamingo is a near-capacity NYC night club instead of a half empty last resort option in nashville for late night dancing. If you want to manifest that vibe for your bar, letting in a group of 10 wearing sandals in 85 degree weather but then singling out the brother of the groom for wearing what everyone else is wearing and making him stand outside alone just isn’t the way. I asked the owner if she would be willing to let in our friend due to the nature of the celebration we were having — Flamingo was not the first or only stop this evening so we didn’t dress to the nines. She doubled down over his sandals… even though I was wearing sandals too.
We immediately left and took our large group over to Bastion down the street which was a way better experience. I used to like this place but we will not be back.

Very poor attitude at the front door, I can tell why it’s completely empty on a Friday night, They turned us away because one person in our party was wearing shorts When it is 80° outside….. The door guy and my friend were literally wearing the same outfit…. And the patrons on the patio look like they just got done roofing a new house…. LAME

First time going to Flamingo Cocktail Club last night and WOW!! Being there gave me so much serotonin. We were happily surprised when we were told it was jazz night. The band was amazing. The ambiance. The drinks. I can’t wait to return!!
I didn't know they had food options so i can't voice an opinion for that. BUT we went for the Thursday album listening party and really enjoyed ourselves. Abby is so sweet and a good vibe.

I stayed at soho house across the street and was blown away by this venue. From the outside it looks like a closed coffee shop. Walk around back and you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the sexiest, coziest venue Nashville has to offer. The staff were amazing, very hospital and although it was a quiet night we had the absolute best time. Hands down the most soul Nashville has to offer.
