Summer seasons vegetable dishes knocked it our of the park. Squash pizza was an all time great. Tartare version was on point. Everything from service to food to drinks were all awesome.
We come here once every quarter, we leave each time reminded of how much we love Folk. The best food, ambience and customer service!
One of the best meals I've had in a long time! Beautiful ambiance, outstanding service, and incredible food. The menu is made for sharing, so you'll want to come hungry. Everything was so delicious – especially the recommendations from our server! Can't wait to come back sometime soon.
We sat in the lounge and there was only one other occupied table there. It was quiet and very pleasant with a view of the bar and outdoor seating area. We had the heirloom tomatoes which were exquisite beyond our expectations. We had the bluefin tuna which was a small plate served raw. We enjoyed it thoroughly. Then we shared a sungold pizza with Thai basil and mozzarella. This was the biggest and best surprise of all. We couldn't stop telling each other how much we loved it. We each thought it was the best pizza we had ever tasted. We capped it off with a chocolate gelato and a peach crostada with vanilla ice cream. There was nothing left over! If you go to East Nashville this is a must and even worth going out of your way for. Highly recommended.
enjoyable meal with great attentive service. minimalist decor but with great cocktails and inventive food; from small plates to entrees to delicious pizzas. very reasonable and tasty meal. A bit often the beaten path in East Nashville but worth a visit!
It's consistently phenomenal. Shane and team are amazing. I'll always come back. Billy with the wines unbelievable. Unbelievable experience. I don't know what else to say. I love it.
First time at Folk, surprised that it had been there for so long. We came because it was the only restaurant in town that we found that had a clam pizza. We mainly stuck to pizzas but with a couple of appetizers and drinks. Everything was fantastic. McKenzie, our waiter, was amazing. Funny, accommodative, and just honestly the best server we've had in a long time. We came to celebrate my son's 12th birthday and it was an awesome night. We will be back.
The food was amazing. Our waiter made some wonderful recommendations and we had a fantastic evening.
Chicken liver pâté was excellent, got a second one for take away. Both trout and pepperoni pizza for entrees were delish. Peach puff pastry with vanilla ice cream was good, would not have ordered if we knew it was going to take 20 mins to arrive. Rose motel cocktail and old fashioned mocktail were ok.
Very good. Food was fantastic and the service was phenomenal. I would highly recommend this for a dinner date or semi formal dinner. Only issue was the noise. Got very loud at times.

The restaurant is beautiful and the happy hour pricing is incredible value- but the regular menu was not. The pizza was ok, but nothing unique or worth $30.
An amazing dining experience in Nashville. The food is locally sourced, so the menu is ever changing and brilliant. The wine list is incredible and the service is top notch. Highly recommend.
It was great. We were thankful to get a 'quiet corner table' that we requested showing that, yes, they do read the special requests part of the Open Table reservation notes. Service was great and it was refreshingly easy enough to talk due in part to the high ceiling and it wasn't exactly full at 530pm. The latest hot restaurant The Henry doesn't have that quality and I put it down to the low tin covered ceiling. Pepperoni pizza was excellent and the bread that came with the stracatella or whatever it's called was out of this world. Asparagus salad was good. Meatballs were fine. Might try something else next time.
We called around 8:15PM-8:20PM to see if we could make a reservation that night, the hostess said they were closing the kitchen soon, so she deterred us from booking. Seconds later we checked on open table to see if there was availability and there was an opening for 8:30, and 8:45. We booked the 8:45, and the restaurant was packed! It didn't seem like there was any rush to order our food... other than our experience booking the dinner, everything else was great.
Everything we had was delicious! Sourdough and hummus, pizza and strawberry/turnip salad! This place is a must!
