Wilburn Street Tavern is a dive bar that offers a simple menu, great prices, and a welcoming atmosphere. Notable menu items include top-notch margaritas and hot dogs. The staff is known for their kindness and professionalism, though recent reviews mention that the bartender can sometimes be unfriendly or unhelpful. The establishment features a friendly vibe and a popular $7 shot and beer special. It is a local favorite for pool players and those seeking a chill bar with excellent drinks and bar food. Occasionally, there are events like comedy, karaoke, or live music, adding to the lively atmosphere. The menu includes a couple of varieties of hot dogs and nachos, with a pool table available for entertainment. The bar also offers a decent negroni and a surprising selection of canned beers such as Helles and Pilsner Urquell. Overall, the price is good, though parking can be limited. Wilburn Street Tavern remains a favorite neighborhood spot for a relaxed experience and quality drinks.
