This was a tragic breakfast. This is the kitchen of the double tree hotel, so I was blown away by the breakfast costing $20 after already paying $300+ for a room. But I did out of convenience. Overcooked bacon, pre-cooked sausage, reconstituted eggs, I expected more from a place in Nashville. Staff was super friendly.

Food was typical hotel food, nothing too fancy, but the brisket tacos were pretty good! Stayed here in Jan, and man, was it cold in the restaurant! The glass windows behind the bar just radiate the cold into the space. Also our server was kind of slow and not very attentive.

I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich and it was marvelous! The mac and cheese is fantastic also! Definitely recommend giving it a shot.

I’m not usually a fan of hotel bars or hotel bar food, but tonight I was a bit hungry and didn’t want to walk far. We ordered the dry rub wings… oh holy night! The wings rank in my top five best of all time! They are seasoned well and cooked to perfection with no slimy wing issues. Our waiter/bartender was David - so observant and courteous! I would eat these wings again!

Holy Freakin Spit! I stayed at the Doubletree in Downtown Nashville, I am an Hhonors member, so I had a food credit at the hotel, thought I would go downstairs to eat.I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. I love this type of sandwich. But this one, IS THE BEST HOT CHICKEN SANDWICH I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!! The crisp, or the crunch was perfect, but it had a very sweet taste with a little bit of a kick after. It was cooked perfectly, juicy, not dry at all. It was amazing. I will have another one tomorrow, hell, I may fly to Nashville for this sandwich, it was that good.Apparently they got a new Chef at this restraint, he’s young, a perfectionist, but creates his own incredible dishes. They told me menu was new 3 days ago. Regardless, I will eat this chicken sandwich every time I come to Nashville.
The Food was wonderful. Better than some places I was walking to around town from our hotel. Husband had the smash burger and crinkle cut fries. Cooked to perfection fries seasoned fresh vegetables toasted brioche bun. I had the pesto chicken pasta. Cooked to al dente pesto was creamy saucy and chicken was plentiful and flavorful. Wish I took a picture but after a bite I didn’t stop!
Kid-friendliness: 3 yo old sat at bar with me while we waited for food to go. Staff was incredibly friendly.

I usually don’t eat at a hotel restaurant. I made the choice to eat at Fourth & U because of the weather. I sat at the bar to eat. The bartender was very friendly and handled my drinks and dinner order with ease. I ordered the grilled honey and soy salmon. It was served on herb mashed potatoes along with grilled broccolini. It was one of best salmon dinners I have had.

Get the hot chicken flat bread. Best pizza I’ve ever had in my life if you like sauce and spice. Wow!!I don’t know how previous bartender and servers were but these guys were spot on!!
